owl your are right about the FA porn the models in that game are just beautiful, then the reloads are acutaly real, as in you safty the weapon, eject the mag instert new mag and cock the weapon then unsafty it.

but then you can get skills like Nomenclature that gives you a -25% reduction in reloading times and thats where the reall XXX pron is, that M4 and M14 nomenclature reloads are just enough to drive a man crazy model'ed so well and smooth.

I'll get a screen shot of the weapons selection screen so you have an idea what i'm talking about.

i'll explain the skills later, but the 2 coolest ones are Medic's and at lvl 2 you can call a medivac helicopter in to evacuate a wounded soldier, and there is artillery class that you can build mortars and drop markers and whatnot. oh and stealth skill that gives you optional silencers on M4 Mp5 Uzi and Beretta 92f plus a hit bonus to the knife.

huge fan of DoD, i say DoD, no password, though, cuz that's probably the biggest reason why no one's on the cs server(that and i don't know the ip :-P)

i voted for ESF, no i don't like DBZ but the mod is fun with very little people, and its somthing different then the same ol. I am guessing the server will be locked, so thats why i voted ESF if its public I guess Dod,firearms,tfc etc wouldn't be bad

I voted PVK ... that mod is <3-tastic, but the one thing it lacks is a good community, which LM would provide.

I agree with Bob on RC2, damn rocket launcher ...  If the original RC works on steam, that wouldn't be so bad

In any event, I support the "mod of the week" idea.  Me, bob, and some other AHL players did this for a while.  It was VERY fun!  We must've tried 15+ mods before I showed them NS and we got hooked on it and destroyed our mod nights  From first-hand experience, its very fun and would keep the server real active(even when bad mods are played, usually people will give it a few days at least).

Personally, I'd rather see an HLRally server. The new version just came out (no more getting stuck on random bits of terrain!) and it's just as fun as before... a few of the cars have been tweaked, making it much more possible for a Mitsubishi EVO to keep up with a Foam Locust, if you pre-steer.

(For those who haven't played it before, HLRally is a rally racing mod for Half-Life, that pulls it off quite well, for using the HL engine.)

Yeah - we had a The Specialists server a few months back.  However, there were only a few of us that ever played on it, which was a durn shame.

I guess Day of Defeat would be groovy - firearms would be equally groovy.  Of course I'd like to see a sven server above all else, but that's out of the question for the time being.  That makes me sad.

Anywho, I invoke the fifth.  I'm not gonna TELL you what I voted for.  B)

My vote would be for TFC...... It is possible to go back from it from NS, still lots of fun and the new teleporter for Engies is great, especially dropped onto the enemies roof on the Well Map

Voted for DoD, but just about anything will be fine. Thought I would like to play some nice HLRally. I played FA in earily beta or 1.x. I didnt think it was all that great  o_O :ph34r:. What about setting up a Zombie server or is that to earily in development for LB's tastes?

I tried DoD on my comp, it runs terrible and i couldn't stand how badly it performed and it reminded me of CS.. (the pain!).  I'd like to check out firearms if I knew the system requirements and to check if it would run better than DoD did on my PC.

that's HL DM, not HL DMC right? DMC is the Quake remake, and HL DM is the one with laser guided MISSLES!!!

either is pretty darn fun.

btw, i'll prolly remake this poll with the mods that get the most votes, taking out the mods that only got one vote.
