I was bored, and it was 4:20 in the morning what more do I have to say.

fired it up in wordpad, zero spellchecking.
I did leave out a bit of the into...

I call it "The End"

Waking up in dream is said to be like childbirth, unsure of everything sure of only one, that you are awake. And so here he stands, struggling to compose one's self, looking for clues to his past his mind an obious blank.  Name? as if a name would have reasured him of hiself, he drew a blank, Staggering as he walked in a room that was vacant for what seams to be a life time he finds a solitary window.  Out this window he sees nothing, nothing out of the odinary death and decay littering the earth.  For one with such a depresistion to lonelyness even he feels the cold bite of it.  Investigating the room he finds a pane of glass, holding it up he catches a reflection of himself hoping this will uncover some clue to who he is.  Unshaved, tattered clothing, and a musty oder that only a mother could love are his only clues.  Seaching more realisticaly now he locates the door, opens it with child like eyes to only find yet another annonmouse room vacant of any life.  Seven or so rooms later he locates what seem to be the main room adoured with lights, all long burnt out, in the shadows he spots a radio its speaker making a dull click.  He lifts it to his mouth only noticeing that it has been left on for to long and dies as he depresses the talk butten, obiously on its last wimse of battery power.

Mainttaining his calm he exits the compound through what looks to be the front door but it mearly leads into a wet and stagnet hallway, following the piping along the ceiling around a few corners and what feels to be a circle he find a door, its locked.  Feeling something stir nerviously in his pocket he reaches for and pulls out a key marked with the numbers 121503, feeling a bit foolish he decides to give it a try.  The key slids into the lock like a hand into a glove, almost as the key had a memory of its own, applying a generous amount of force due to the rust appearant on the lock it turns and a click could be heard that echos in the hallway.  He stands puzzeled by not only the key but the noise it made, for it seems to trigger memories, but they are to fragmented to make any sense of.  He collets himself and presses through the doorway a obious pressure difference could be felt as air rushes past him to fill the void, and the door shuts on its own locking as it clicks back into its restfull position.  The key which left his steady grip now lays on the ground on the other side of what now is a one way door, he turns around and faces the darkness of this alien room.

At a moment like this a decision must be made, fight or flight.  In the situation that he finds himself in it leaves only one decision, aquire knowledge, for knowledge is power.  He stands with his back to the door that now imprisions hiim, trying to steady his breath not to allert anyone in the room.  The room itself from what he can tell is quite large, he can hear sparks in the distance and can make out the blue glow of electricity.  He paces himself as to not comprimise ones judgment,  he closes his eyes and notices that he can feel the room.  Upon opening his eyes he feels much like a newborn looking into what was darkness with new found eyes, and not only can he see more clearly now he can feel his suroundings,  dizzing at first, even disorientating he steps foward.  Seeing more clearly then ever before he locates what seams to be an equipment locker, upon arrival he find a suitable pair of clothes that seem to fit as if tailored for him.  With closer inspection of this large room he sees a pair of large doors overhead, concluding that this is some sort of hangar bay and Seeing no aircraft in the vacinity he scans for a contol point, as if by instinct or by repetition he find a large throw switch.  operating it with easy the old doors over head creak and squeel to life opening like a book.  overhead he now sees a black sky, not to be mistaken with a night sky, this sky is void of stars or any ilght source.  An impenatrable cloak of thick dust blankets the earth, no matter the eyes it is unbreakable.

Being a man of science he ponders how he can be breathing in such a harsh envirourment, to denouce his suspicions he picks up a pebble, not lonely amung thousands, and throws it upwards.  As he pebble nears the barrior of the giant doors a blue flash is unleashed, that can only be translated as liquid electricity.  He sees now that he is isolated from the harsh relm of the outerworld, he quickly throws the switch again to close the doors having seen all he has to see and not willing to test the batteries holding the lightning blue above his head.  He readjust his eyes again to the change in lighting after the reletive show of power overhead, seaching once more in this large alien room he sees the word MESA written on the wall in what seems to be blood but not human.  Gettng closer he touches it and feels that it is still warm, feeing it, he can sense it calling out to his body crying for vengence.  A click breaks his trance as  a  unseen door on the far side of the room opens, this door seems to be glowing blue much like the liquid blue lightning he observed earlier overhead.  He finds cover and arms himself with a steel pipe thats cold touch grips unaturaly to his palm,  watching the door with wonderous fear he observes a small creature step forth.

The creature stands infront of the door for a few seconds then proceeds the kneel, the doorway that was once brighter then day vanishes with little more then a click to acknowledge its passing.  The creature stands tall and from what he can see in the darkness it seems to be carrying a breifcase.  He calls out to the creature "Hello, Anyone there?" with a tone of fear in his voice.  The creature's attention focus's directly on him now as if it could see better then he.  In a raspy old voice the creature replys "Ahh Mr.Freeman glad that you could join us"
Through the mudd and the blood to the green fields beyond, for ours is not to question why our is but to do or die.

And when we die and die we shall to saint peter we shall tell, just another soldier reporting sir, I've served my time in hell.
