Post Levels

I've never seen a post on this in all the time here. What are the different postcount levels? Like, uninstalled, make config, and so on. The highest I saw was make dep. Usually by the time anyone gets more than a few hundred posts, niteowl has found a good title for them. So what would my generic title be right now if I didn't already have the custom? And are there levels higher? It's nice to have goals for your spam, after all. You can always use more teeny penguin icons.

Well at the moment the highest post count that doesn't have a custom title is 464 posts. (poor ignored Malevolent) I think I actually managed to break 1000 before Nite thought of a good one for me. So at the rate we usually go, we'll NEVER see those higher level default titles.

as i've said a meeeeeelllion times (or less) i usually give out titles for something you've done that is positive, or something youa re known for, or some silly bit of IRC chat you were involved in. HOWEVER! there are other folks who do give titles, jhunz, lb, lf, i think does it too.

Ah, but only when the concept of the age of coolness is in debate.  Instead, it is a question of which new cool he is. There are many so-called "new" cools, but he is the new cool. Alas, his title is speaking of a different interpretation as you may have expected.

And here I go derailing me own thread. Oh well.

I find it fascinating how the accent on a certain word in english can change the meaning of a phrase completely. Sometimes completely opposite of what it would be with a different accent. The classic example being "I didn't say he shot him."

Read that sentence through, but each time put the accent on a different word. Accent the 'I' and you're implying that although it was said, you weren't the one that said it. Accent 'didn't' and you're implying that you definitely did not say it. Accent the 'say' and you're now saying that although you didn't put into words that someone shot someone else, you were definitely implying in other ways that some gunplay was going on. And so on with each word.

Neat, eh?

Sati got it right. Niteowl is not 'The NEW Cool', especially not considering that he's ancient compared to the rest of us. Rather, he is 'THE New Cool'. Of all the New Cools, he is THE New Cool. Just like, even if the name lolfighter were to become fashionable, I would still be THE lolfighter.

anyhoo, i dunno, as a matter of.. some sort of forum mod honour thing, one cannot alter his OWN title. so i have no idea what the person meant (lb i think) when they gave it to me.
