Grimm, I don't Hate CS in general, I hate what it has become. The community used to be much smaller and had less llamas. All the guns used to react much differently. I liked CS because it LACKED teamwork. On the muting issue, can't click any goddamn names in the console so I dont know wtf you talking about you can mute people.
Oh yeah, Structures zapping you from 10 feet away IS a bugfix, because you could dodge the electricity when it didn't reach that far, I know because I did it before. The knockback was also a new feature implemented, which was implemented recently, and Flayra doesn't get payed to patch the game(except from donations from viewers like you!), when the guys over at valve DO.
Oh yeah on the NS balance issue, Onos die fast because their hitboxes were fixed, an old bug which made them into giant meatshields :p. The balance counter for marines is the fade, that is all I have to say. Aliens can also stall the game, but turret spam is easy to counter, as long as the marines dont have full upgrades and aren't shooting at you which is the true cause of the stalling, mainly because the turrets are just speedbumps that are easily biled away.
Also Grimm, I understand that people find it entertaining, I find it entertaining to, just not in pubs. The thing that makes me so angry at CS is the fact that people are getting payed for their work on it now, when before it was just some guys having some fun and making a mod for Half-life. I also don't play pubs, I only play it occasionally on PD. I just hate it because what it has turned into, sure NS is changing a lot and many people despise what it is turning into, but I don't see Flayra working for valve right now and doing diddly about the balance or anything. NS is just Flayras experiment, and we are the guinea pigs. I like NS right now, except I would find it more fun if Fades weren't the aliens only chance at winning. Just have to wait for the next few patches. In CS it isn't wait for the next few patches.
Also, on the shield issue, if it's one guy with a shield and I have a gun such as the AK or the MP5, it's quite easy to take them out, just aim for the head and when they try and shoot you burst away! I find it easier to get headshots on shielders than on non-shielders :p. But on the awp issue, the only reason I find it not so bad is because of its fire rate, the scout shoots noticeably faster enough and if you're good you can take on people much faster with ze scout.
Oh yeah, this just reminded me of another ass old bug in CS, the quickswitch one which makes the awp refire rate slightly faster :p. This bug has been around longer than I can remember yet they don't fix it when they're getting payed.
