But in the end, does it really matter? Its not like we're all going to visit eachoter around the world in our lifetimes.

I would play on LM more often with you all, but its been Steam'ed now, and I have yet to install said program.

I'm always up for a good game of RC2, if that server is still there.

Just go ahead and give it a try. Chances are it will work. Even if it doesn't, I haven't heard of cases where it does damage to the computer, so it's definitely worth a try if you have the HD space. Just don't deinstall your WON HL yet.

Screw it. Most of the regs don't even play on it right now. There are a ton of guys that are playin on it right now (that aren't regs). I'm just sittin back til 2.1. But what I'm really waiting for is 3.0.

I've successfully downloaded and installed Steam, and I havn't had any problems so far.

I also played a few rounds of TFC to test out the teleporter, and because its been a helluva long time since I played it last.

Now I just need to find out how to install NS on Steam...

Well, like I said in the other thread, download the NS Steam Client wherever it is on these forums. It'll do it automatically for you, if you really want to play right now since 3.0 is 'supposed' to come out during this holiday season which I assume is by the end of December.

I was deterred by the part that said "If you are having problems with Steam, download this file" part, so I was looking for a way to move my current NS installation to Steam.

But I dled it, now I've got NS installed, and LM is full. So I'm either gonna go try out the riot sheild in CS, play some custom WC3 maps, or go do my homework.

There's still a small hard core of regulars remaining, and get ready for the grand influx with 3.0. And the more of us return, the more of us will consider returning as well, etc.
