Two parasites, actually; a Skulk has, in effect, 90 health.

Yeah, a deathmatch map would be better IMO, or at least a rule that states "No welding CCs" until the plugin can get fixed.

Clip brush in front of the CC so you can hurt it with distance weapons, but not weld it. Can't knife it either, but eh well.

someone had an idea for the 2nd cc to cover it with a trigger hurt set to -15 or something damage and have a welding block or something next ot it, so when your welding the trigger hurt activates and heals cc, and t_h do effect the cc.
havnt tried it myself but its an idea

There needs to be a trigger_hurt in the silly room somewhere, because players can get stuck in there and not be able to get out without losing their levels.

yeah theresa a lot of fixs I need to do, so there will probably be a v4 sometime with protected spawns, an exti to the silly room, and if your al lucky, lights will be fixed :)

along with this, getting ava working, and flaytona, I'll be damn busy for the enxt little while :)

Comments:

I think that NS should stay two teams, no more.  I think that MvMvAvA is getting too close to a deathmatch-ish idea, and NS was not meant to be a deathmatch game.  And before I start getting yells of "But Combat is Deathmatch!"  Yes, but it's still only two teams, not four.  Anyways, if someone STILL wants to do that four teams stuff later, get MvM or AvA completely working first.

Clashen - ::cough:: Cas's map ::cough::   :D

Bob - Healing aliens using DCs instead of Hive?  Meh, just use a WHOLE LOT of hidden DCs.  I've seen groups of DCs heal pretty fast.  And on balance, yeah I can see how balancing MvM or AvA would be an issue, but since neither race was overpowered to begin with, it should all work out.  Besides, it's a change of pace, and something new.  NS was something new when it came out, so we can give this concept a try, eh?    ^[span style=\'font-size:7pt;line-height:100%\']

Fatty - Skulks frantically jumping and running around after each other is funny. :lol:   Bile bombing is just what Gorges do.  Besides, this is still Combat only, so cloaking has to be upgraded to; just like Gorge, Bile Bombing, and Silence.  In regular Combat, silenced cloaked Skulks tear up rooms of rines anyway.  And to see THEM when they're not attacking or being shot, the rines need to use the motion tracking or ping option.  So it all works out anyway.

Cas - Focus is evil.  Period.

Other:

Think about this though:  a Skulk trying to parasite a Skulk?  Skulks move much faster than rines so this should be a lot harder.  An Onos devouring a Skulk?  OMG that would be SO funny!!!  Eh, it got hungry?  r00fles!  OC spam not protecting a Gorge against a Skulk?  Oh well, move you fat Gorge.  (Or, I wonder if you can make the OCs fire faster and more accurately so they can ACTUALLY hit Skulks (I thought I had read that OCs were programmed to have trouble hitting fast moving objects like rines running by or rines on jetpacks...  dunno...))
