I saw Dawn of the Dead today with some friends. I thought it was pretty cool, kind of like Resident Evil (yes, I liked that movie), but better. It was kind of cheezy at some points, but we (my 7 or so other friends that were there and I) had some great laughs. We were seemingly allowed to make our own commentary on the movie at times because there was only about 25 people there (minumum school day for us, got out early so there wasn't much of a crowd).

seen almost every zombie movie out there    and resident evil was great grimm. hopefully this remake will be as good as the original.

oh yeah ,i have a ?. is there a part in the remake where a zombie gets its head cut off from a chopper ? that was my fav part  :p

And unfortunately, Anarki, there aren't any zombie-chopper decapitations, but there are many other ways that zombies (and a couple regular people) are mutilated.

I thought it was pretty good.  It did have some points that didnt make sense but then again its a horror film.  The chainsaw part had to be the best part of all.  Then when the propane tanks went kaboom looked like a skulk on a xenocide run!

i also saw it. the only characters developed at all were the nurse girl and the 2 black guys, but hey, i didn't really expect much when i decided to go. pointless zombie shooting, can't complain much. it get's a C+ from me.

A little really cool thing I noticed during the movie, at one of the more calm parts where the group of survivors isn't under any threat, there is a cheerful, Frank Sanatra-esque song playing in the background. The cool thing about it, something I realized after listening to the lyrics for a moment, is that it's a remake of Down With the Sickness by Disturbed. Very cool.  B)

I saw the preview on TNT and quite honestly I thought of Grimm's sig I liked being a bit scared by it but I will not be able to see it when it comes out due to the rating (no laughs plz <_< )
