i'd like to say 'reinstall beta2 (backup your config.cfg for direct passage to go and collect $200)' and hope that works, otherwise we may have virus issues o_O

I was just playing too :/ Reinstalled Beta 2, nothing, going to reinstall beta 1 now... yay fun.

Ha ha this is a riot: "Steam with proper 3rd party mod support not detected." GG! This is why I hate people that try to make 'neat' installers (AKA the auto steam detection). They totally suck at making them, more or less.

Did you not read the readme for beta testing? You are to run the Training Mission for half-life once through so NS gets all its proper files. Thats your problem. Its not GG steam, its GG reading skills.

Nice.

Not only do you sagely ignore your own advice but you put TWO cheap shots into one post while at the same time saying how stupid simple insults make you look.

Oh gods, it's the final showdown between Uranium and CWAG. I knew this day would come.

If it's just the one map that's screwed, I'm sure someone can upload it to you.

Eh, had to do a 100% full clean install of evrything :/ Gradually rolled back all the steps and the only thing that seemed to work was a full reinstall of steam (which deleted everything :()

just make sure that you backup your config.cfg and any other custom .cfg's before you do that. You could also set your config.cfg to be read only, then it doesn't get overwritten when installing the latest patch
