Soo, its my birthday soon, and I'm pretty pissed with my current computer.  So, I'm buying a new one.

I'm not going top of the line here, but it will be a huge improvement over my current comp.

DVD - CD RW drive
200gb HD
POWMAX Black/Silver Mid Tower ATX Case with 400W Power Supply, Side Window & handle, Model "CP0327PL-4" -RETAIL
ASRock "775V88" VIA PT880 Chipset Motherboard for Intel LGA775 CPU -RETAIL
Intel LGA 775 Pentium 4 630 3.0GHz 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache Processor w/ Hyper Threading Technology - Retail
2  WINTEC AMPO 184-pin 512MB DDR PC-3200, Model 35145588-P - OEM + another 512 stick from my current comp.
Jetway ATI RADEON 9600XT Video Card, 128MB DDR, 128-Bit, DVI/TV-Out, 8X AGP, Model "96XT-AD-128C" -RETAIL
2 Masscool 80mm DC fan with 4 Blue LED, Model "BLD-08025S1M"
Trendware/Trendnet KVM 2 Port Switch Kit, Model "TK-205I" -RETAIL

Any suggestions on it? The current price is $600.

Edit: Update from Drubo's suggestions
Edit2: Got rid of fan controller.. don't see a point to one.
Edit3: Added KVM switch, its needed :)

I have 2 suggestions to make, or rather one wrapped up into 2 parts.

The first is the CPU. As you've just found out from Zero7 and me in IRC, first-gen Prescott CPUs- that is, the ones still labeled with their speed rather than the new intel model number- suck. They overheat and are inferior in many ways to their older and newer counterparts.

Therefore, you should switch out the CPU. I'd recommend the Pentium 4 630 (here) for $245 or if that's too much then the 530J (here) for a more reasonable $184.

Since that's a different pin package, you'd need to switch motherboards. This one is functionally equal to the one you currently have selected.

That's all. Everything else is ok.

Thanks to Drubo, its changed a bit, and now its 64 bit also.  I'm happy.  Added a KVM, because my parents use the current comp, and I dont want to buy a new monitor.  This one should last me a long time

AMDs are hot.

Your computer sounds good despite the fact that I like AMD better. You should really check other stores besides Newegg. They are hardly ever the cheapest place.
