Phase Madness

This is what happens when it's midmorning on a monday and no one's playing on LM... people get a little crazy and they start to phase farm:

Yeah it was stupid, but sometimes you just can't help it. The noise of all those phases humming at once was terrible. If it hadn't been for my girl sleeping in the same room, I would have had to take off the headphones and crank up the bass on the speakers to rattle that walls.

Now, marines, next time I say PHASE TO COMPUTER LAB NOW NOW NOW, maybe you'll get the point!

Things like that never happen when I'm around. I must have some kind of aura that makes people around me sane...

I'd post the screenshots of the game the other day where we relocated into a vent, but they're too dark without the gamma correction to tell what's going on. It was on ns_eclipse, and we were having a goofy game, playing hunt the onos with 6 marines armed with knives and such. I suggested relocating across the room (they'll never suspect it!) and instead we went around to horseshoe, boosted up into the vent, and built a CC and IPs there. The vent is weldable from the inside, we found, so we squeezed in an armory (barely) and welded ourselves in. Then an alien came in, egged, and went onos inside the vent. Giggles were had by all. Of course once they decided to the aliens finished us pretty quickly with lerk gas and acid rockets. And the skulks running into the vent and xenociding. Ahhhh, much hilarity.

Was in a game once where we relocated to that vent, but it had been a serious game. I had a jetpack, we were trapped in our base, and the vent was already welded, so I dropped a comm chair in there and flew in there, dropped some IPs and the basic stuff while I could. Although I don't recommend doing it too often, as it prolonged the game a bit.
