As some of you may have read in Kodiac's "The brothers are disconnected" thread, I've been plauged by a literal tsunami of problems as of late. Blue screens of death, "windowz has just recovered from a fatal error" messages, and almost all my games crashing on some level. The one most memorable thing about these errors was the message "Driver_irq_not_less_or_equal" appearing over and over.
After extensive sessions with techs over the phone and remote connections, it finally boiled down to the 'ol tried and true "Format C:"
So, I salvaged and burned all the important stuff, shot the proverbial hole in the boat, and drifted out to sea while 'ye ol C: drive sank into the cleasing oblivion of nothingness.
I'm at the point now where I've re-loaded all the essentials, put my data back on, and have all my games installed. All my games, from Doom3 to Diablo II, Halo to Battlefield Vietnam work flawlessly. No more crashing, no more constant headaches, except for one.
Half life.
Damn it, I have the same problem in every mod. Regular Half-life SP, to the Specialists, and to my vast horror, Natural-Selection. In a nutshell, the game freezes about a minute in, give or take. I've never had a problem with NS before, so I have no idea where to start. Any ideas?

If you need any more information, just ask.
EDIT: goddamnit, I just got the same fatal exception playing Halo as before I formatted, look like im in the same boat. I'd hate to think it's damaged hardware...
