My Map Logo

Well, after 2 hours of chatting with Path we devised a name for my map:
Phase
Technology
Engineering and
Research
Operations
Station

Pteros is greek for 'wing', and I figure phase gates carry thing to far away places, just as wings carry birds.

Now that you know all that you can fully understand the logo I have made :p Comments please!

edit: i moved the wings up and the atom down, so that the atoms appears to have wings (before&after pic for those of you new to the thread and/or are forgetful)

Well of course :p it is just not very far along, if you were on IRC more or tell me your aim/icq/msn or such you would get in on the alpha testage :p

yes i was thinking the same thing about the logo abs.

other than that it is looking quite nice

Its too bright and colorful for the NS universe, most symbols are usually washed out and grungy.

That is also because of where the logo are grimm. This is just my base logo, when I slap in over a texture to use in the map I'll do it like the Eclipse logo with just a gray overlay. The full color one will only be used in places it looks good, such as a hologram display, or on a monitor where it will be small and un-intrusive.

You can be both ya know :p the alpha testing is rather lonely, it consists of Path looking at the new thing I did and commenting, which takes about 5 minutes, then the 2 of us fooling around in the map doing all sorts of things for the next 1-3 hours or untill we crash the server
