I can't run NS! I'm freaking out! Like a cold-turkey drug adict!

Ok, so I run steam, that's fine, then I run NS. the NS background pops up, no menu items, my cursor shows the hourglass-of-ultimate-yet-delaying-computer-thinking.  after maybe a max of 20 seconds, HL dies and it poops me back to my desktop...

[EDIT] The same thing happens in WorldCraft/VHE/whatever v_v [/EDIT]

Any ideas?

BTW, this just started happening with this recent patch that I DLed through steam today

anyhow. if you have custom models, just simply remove them onto your desktop. dl the 3.0 installer, then save it somewhere so if this problem occurs again, just go into that folder :lol:

your probralby missing some big NS file in the folder for it to function

hmm... but... but... your title... and Admin made it, it must be true...

Anyways, I reinstalled and it seems to work now...
BTW, i don't use any custom models, sprites, or anything, infact, the only thing I change from default NS is - F1=SC - F2=N/A - F3=RT - F4=OC - F5=DC - F6=readyroom
(yes, it's true, F4 to me means build an OC... :blink: )
