Woops.......... broke that rule a bit...... and it appears the p button and numerous other keys are broken on this keyboard, even though they worked when my brother got it...... gg $5 keyboard with a bunch of extra crap(buttons like back and forward and stop and calculator, and a mouse]...... on that note I just found out the slash, the semicolon, the quotation marks, the underscore, the zero, and the left bracket are all broken..... ctrl + c and v are my friends...

I sometimes yell out some words when I am mad at the game, but rarely the person, because of all the days that I played cs and two people with the same gun firing at the exact same time, the lower pinger would always win, and I usually had the higher ping. Also some of the time the players dont necesarily mean anything wrong with what they are saying, because sometimes im all *OLOLOLO NUCAEK U R TEH SUK OLLLLLLL* but I dont mean it in a bad way, because I dont know how someone could be insulted by such bad grammar and spelling, and use of non-existant words like *olo*. But most of the time people just like to bitch, and it seems to have become a sort of online gaming culture to yell obscenities out when killed, so I dont see any harm in *BS*, and words dont make you bleed do they? Venting through words is much more safe than venting through your fists.

I'm with civilian on this one.  Everyone feels robbed once in a while, whether it be by lag, a bug in the game, a crappy computer, or an act of god, and it gets frustrating, but thats how games work, and people should be used to it by now.  Sometimes you've just gotta suck up you're pride and say "nice one."

I agree with civilian too, people shouldnt bitch when hey die. Everyone should take an example from me; when agrevated, just look around you and punch something really really hard.

I know when i get mad at the game i stand up, curse like crazy and scream till my lungs hurt. Sometimes my family thinks i have turrets because one second i'll be siting playing on my computer quietly and the next i'll be yelling and screaming like crazy. I'm not mean enough to go and post comments to other players about how nubly they are and about how much BS things are (OMG turret farm HAX).

In general though, i don't get mad at other players. the only times i get pissed are when,
1: i'm about to rush them with an onos and i get either killed as an egg or get dissconnected from the server
2:I'm kicked from a full server as a comm
                    or
3:I freeze up at a critical point of the game and the server is full before i can get back (</3 steam)

I never get mad.  Well...sometimes, like when a bunny hopping skulk gets me, I might slam my fist on the desk.  Oh, and when people go onos in a 2on2 game.  Usually I don't give a rip, though.

even more annoying than 'bs' is people who say 'h4x' whenever they get killed at least one guy whose name I forget actually has a script/hotkey to say it EVERY time he dies...

I shouldn't really talk though -- I tend to do a 'no problem' when I make a kill too :blink:

my top row of keys, 1 thru backspace:

slot1, slot2, slot3, slot4, follow me, I got your back, taunt, medpack, ammo, need orders, alien spotted, let's move out, all clear

all of the voice coms except the last 3 are also alien sounds, so it's good to have those binds for variety :> get sick of hearing just the 'chuckle' and 'taunt'...

Really, people bragging about their l33t skillz after they kill someone only leads to aggravation and less of a fun time for everyone.

Just try and sense when its in Jest. I personally usually say things like that as just a joke, so I can just....yeah.
