...untill b6 comes out. I have finally become too pissed off at the game and the players to play anymore, and have thus moved to other things for now. I've told ChanServ not to op me upon joining the channel so maybe I'll go unnoticed there. Also I may be on the server for a few minutes if I am in the mood to 'test the water' and may or may not be smurfing, in any case don't expect any adminage from me unless it is something extremely serious.

I hear ya ABS, but after my "good 4 months" of rest from NS all together, I came back and am actually having a good time.

I doubt it :p As I said  the players are half the problem, and over my years of playing games I've yet to find someone else who thinks the same on a certain subject.

Being the 40 day mark of my hiatus, I decided to hop on for a short while and check it out. I went in as "A gamer is me!" so I could play carefree without many worries and just try to have fun, sadly, it almost seemed worse than when first left. 4 rounds, all marine wins, all horribly off-kilter from early on. <_< So yea... away I go again...

Frustrating, but I find the marine/alien win ratio on LM to be roughly even the majority of the time.  It's annoying to be on the ass end of a streak, which ever way it goes, but I've been a part of just as many alien streaks as marine streaks, and I've been playing almost only alien recently.
