Uploading And Lag

I know sometimes my ping gets high and I lag. Thanks for letting me know because I obviously am unaware of the fact!

My roommate has kazaa uploads on and sometimes refuses to turn them off because it's so important to him that he can share his wrestling matches and various television show episodes.

This causes some ping problems for me. Which sometimes allow me to warp in your eyes but not mine. Sometimes it affects me as well.

Stop telling me about 5-6 times every game that your aim is perfect and I lag. Or that I'm exploiting because as funny as it was the first time. It got old very fast. I don't get angry with anyone easy (JHUNZZZZZZZZ) so it is a problem for me.

Tell your roommate to upload his crap when you aren't playing or does it run 24/7?  v_v

I've asked nicely quite a few times. Sometimes he turns it off and most of the time he just doesn't answer and pretends he doesn't hear. I'd do something more but considering I live here free of charge except groceries.

i find it easier to kill lagging skulks becuase they always freeze for a second or 2, giving enough opening to load it full of lead

hey bob, were you there that night we were playing co_faceoff? it was a few nights ago. Great game, a lot of regs were playing. but for some reason there was a tremendous amout of lag. can you explain?

I think someone was fiddling about with something on the server at the time. I recall one of the magical messages from admin saying something about that. So probably nothing to worry about, just a one time occurrence.

You can always use a program like NetLimiter to limit his upload to like 3k or however much he wants before your connection turns laggy, usually 80% of your upload cap.
