Been having a bit of a problem as of late (occured after installing the SWG trial) where my cpu usage goes up to 100% after around an hour of running.

Adaware and Pestpatrol were no help. Neither was Trend Micro and their virus scan. It's getting to be quite the annoyance and I'm thinking of reformatting this weekend but would like to avoid it.

Quite possibly is a virus. There have been several recently that have that effect. You might try a real virus scanner if trendmicro's online thingy isn't helping. Also make sure you've got the latest MS security patches from the windows update site. If all that doesn't help, try a large bucket of cold water. That'll flood them buggers out.

Trendmicro and Housecall are nice becuase you don't have to install any ^^. But unfrotunately, they're not very good because of it. AVG Antivirus is free.
