Off Topic / Robocop Argument!

Alright so I'm waiting for McDonalds to open because my roomate says if I go get breakfast he'll buy me some. Hot damn.

Anyways. We get to talking to kill time and he mentions an ad he saw for the Robocop trilogy and we get to talking which is the best.

I said Robocop 2 because when they're testing the new prototype Robocops, one rips his helmet off showing an exposed skull with a hillarious scream. The other comes out, shoots everyone in the room and then shoots himself in the head. Again, hillarity ensues.

He says one because at the end that guy gets an acid bath followed by being hit by a car. A feat that is way cool but just can't compare to a Robot/Human RIPPING IT'S OWN HEAD OFF.

Which do you think is the best and wai?!

Off Topic / Calgary Flames In Final 4!

I'm going to have to pour 2 40's on the curb for a couple of Calgary kids who can't be there to see it. Myself and BlackMage.

This is the first time since the 80's (86 when they won the cup) that the flames have even made it to round 2 and now we're in the FINAL FOUR!!!

As I mentioned in the thread about mice I decided to buy a Microsoft Intellipoint Explorer mouse. I've very pleased with the mouse but I can't install the drivers.

I put the cd in and it say that I can't install these untill I uninstall the current drivers. So, I try to do it through add/remove programs but when I click change/remove programs nothing happens. Then I tried going into the system thinger and removing the drivers from my device manager. I reboot the system and they're still there. I can't manually delete anything called logitech because it's in use.

Anyone think they could help me out?  :help:

As some of you know the animosity between me and my stepmother was reaching all time highs lately. She moved out this morning because I'm apparantly constantly bothering her (I never even leave my room).

So I had a talk with my dad today and I'm moving out friday. I havn't been on the forums or the IRC channel that much lately anyways so my lack of presence may not be noticed. But the friend I'm moving in with doesn't have internet connection so I wont be around unless I'm at someone elses who has internet (which I will be from time to time)

I recently downloaded the demo for this game because a friend of mine worked on it with Kung Fu Squirrel. It looks like it's going to be fun! I've yet to play with anyone yet but CWAG is downloading and we're going to give it a go.

Is it just me or is there something wrong with the forum cookies? I view threads then go back to the forum they were in and they still show up as unread.

I'm not just hitting the back button for anyone who was going to mention that.

If it's something on my end of things anyone know how I could fix it?

General / Implants Vs Weapons

I try to get the basic weapons first...shottie, tommy gun, maybe work up to rocket pistols. Then focus entirely on implants and production related upgrades (production speed, manufacturing costs, cloning, coffee). My reason in doing so is if the enemy is focusing on weapons we are faster and stronger with our basic guns, killing them and stealing their "experimental devices" Then once I collect 2 of a device I vote for that and then continue with the implants.

General / Regulars Server?

I've been playing alot of s&i lately and noticed that all too often when it's not just the LM crowd hanging out that people make the teams ridiculously uneven and alot of jerks come in. Jerks comparable to some of the worse Counterstrike jerks. Could you (LB) possibly password the Corporate Penguins server? I chose that one because it seems to lag people less. Or at least make it password only after a set time. Like 6:00 PM or something?


It's alot more fun to play with people you know. Plus the teams are alot more fair and the strategies just become a great part of the game when you know everyone is cooperating.
