The US homeland secuirty department created a color coded "alert level" for risk of terrorist attacks.  It ranges from green - red any time they think there's an elevated risk of an attack it goes to yellow or orange.  Like it'll over be green or blue  o_O.

Basically at red you may be considered the enemy if your not inside your home.  My guess at this level martial law might be enacted in the area and civil rights possibly suspended temporarily... that's if a attack hit a major city.  Somewhat understandable to keep the peace but a precarious position nonetheless.

Since apparantly they think most of america is comprised of 3 year olds that like bright colors and are retarded.  Thanks tom ridge!

OMG ALERT LEVEL ORANGE... WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! RUN FOR YOU LIVES! THE GOVERNMENT IS TELLING US TO BE SCARED AGAIN!!!!!  :help:

The tri-pods couldn't even walk straight. They looked drunk. Of course only Tom Cruise could see this, the soldiers who had been fighting these things for days didnt notice. They dont have that top notch scientologist training.

lol, i also thought it was funny how tom cruise always managed to be at the center of the action.  Oh well its a movie after all :-p

Haven't read any further, but here's an interesting fact. There are more people alive today than people that have died over all of history. In other words, if every person in the world decided to pull a Hamlet, there wouldn't be enough skulls in the world for every one. Kinda freaky when you think of it...

Where'd you hear that from?  All of history?

http://desip.igc.org/populationmaps.html

Go to this site (best one i could find that was credible).  Figure 50 years for every generation to die out.  It makes for a very rough estimate, but from 1350AD and on i got over 9 billion people.  This is only in the last 650 years.  And although its already been disproven with these numbers, at what point to you draw the line of measuring our beginning?  If you go by the appearance of homo sapiens that would be around 130,000 years old that that have been found.

http://www.mnh.si.edu/anthro/humanorigins/ha/sap.htm

It's impossible for the current population to outnumber the WHOLE of human existance that's ever existed.  Where did all of us come from then, 6 billion people just doesn't come 1 billion people, because everybody didn't have 12 kids.  There were generations and generations before us.  I don't know quite how to put it into words but its mathmatically impossible.

I'm 22 (older than most of you :-P) and work at a retail store in lincoln, nebraska.  I dropped out of the university because i hated the "college" atmosphere, or at least the university atmosphere.  When i'm not working my grueling 25-30hr a week job, i play NS and hang out with the g/f and drink steadily increasing amounts of booze.

I live in a low rent wonderfully decreped neighborhood with 5-10 dangerous looking minorities that hang out in the parking lot right outside my apartment window every night till 2 in the morning. I ride with a '89 celebrity eurosport with defective paint and many rust spots and shot shocks. Now that wars back in style maybe i'll get drafted and have something fun to do.

EDIT: A lemon tester?? HAHHA that's awesome!  :p

Yea there were a few plot holes... like in the beginning his parents getting shot by some bum but in the first batman it was the joker saying "hey kid, every dance with the devil on a pale moon night?"

but whatever it stills is the same general idea.  I also liked it how they kept it more "realistic" with the real looking city instead of the stylized tim burton world.

As soon as i saw him put on the mask and start scaring that guy i was like "hey i remember this guy! It's scarecrow!" (from the old batman cartoons)

*SPOILER*

Also i thought the new batmobile was friggen awesome.  I like it how they made it like a tank and did you see how thick those tires were!?!.  Yet it still has the fire hole in the back but whatever it still was cool.

A few things:
1) Why the **** are you relocating to WAC?
2) On a full 32 player you ahve 16 players on your team, are you saying you need 15 people to pull off a relocate? Jeez, if all 15 people go there then you get 0 map control. In a 32 player the alien team can 8 fades for ****s sake, how the **** are you planning on winning with a relocate to an isolated corridor offering you 1 rt and no map control, as well as not letting your marines spread out early game.
3) I laughed hard it was so stupid.

Its not really one 1 RT since waste and double are just a small ways away its actually pretty conveinent.  And generally you can hold the whole left side of the map with a relocate there.

why are you making these threads

Cause i felt like it, if admins have problems with me posting stuff like this then i'll stop.  If you don't like it nobody's forcing you to reply to it, simple as that.

LM was empty so i figured i would try comming a large 32 player game on SC Hamptons #1.  So the map was tanith and i kept letting everybody know that we were relocated to west access outside waste.  Then i used waypoints to walk them each step of the way to the spot and kept informing them where we were going.

So what happens?  Only 7-8 people head there following waypoints and the other
1\2 or more of the team just goes wandering all across the map.  I had guys wandering over to sat, chem, acidic, NONE of them even trying to stop for res along the way (at least make themselves useful if they wander off right?)

Anyways, long story short, we get 2 IPs up in west with a armoy and just get slaughtered all over the map quickly and then people start screaming "BAD COMM!" ... "GOOD COMMING COMMANDER!" etc etc...

It would have worked great had everybody gone to the waypoints i was guiding them to, but with that many players it just seems like everybody just goes and does whatever they want and then blame the commander when everything falls apart.

That's it just wanted to spread my disgust of some of the players that play NS especially in the larger pub games.

And here's the demo for those who are bored:

EDIT: Just for future reference when your hosting pics save them as .jpg instead of .bmps since they are a lot smaller and load a ton faster (and can have them big without taking a long time to load up).

Imageshack.us is also a good image hosting site and easy to use

I don't see the connection.  Yes the word bacon is used to describe my love of bacon.  I really can't help it if your offended by that, is it a taboo word?  What are bacon flaps anyways?  Is there some kind of hidden meaning i'm missing?
