The forum is like Terri Schaivo; technically still alive, but there's nothing really going on.

Kinda sorta updated picture, from within the last year-ish. My camera is busted, so I can't take any truly up-to-date shots just yet, but this will do.

I'd prefer it remained close-combat because it makes more sense that way, but if they don't do anything to change gameplay (i.e. make marines not so powerful) I won't bother with it.

Fatty has terrible breath as it is, but when he's transformed and you're only two feet tall, it's simply unbearable. Ba-dum chh.

Here's a shot of one (Just one, there's at least three, if not five) giant mutant t-rex roaming around Un'Goro Crater.

And where would we be without the gratuitous foxy lady shots?

Most of my PvP experiences thus far have been pretty bad. There isn't any kind of honor system, so people who are 10+ levels higher than you are free to roam around and basically harvest you like wheat. However, there have been a few PvP encounters that were fun or too funny.

An example of the latter was when two enemies attacked me after I'd just finished off a creep. I usually don't have a chance against a good hunter, let alone a hunter and some kind of buddy, but it was worse in this scenario because I was ambushed by two hunters. The Dwarf hunter made the mistake of running out after me, so he became my primary target. I sacrificed my Voidwalker to give me a damage absorb sheild for a short while as I blasted and afflicted him. I got him down to a sliver of health before he used a potion, and I got him very low again before they killed me. Fortunately, being a warlock, I have soulstones, which allow me to ressurect on the spot instantly, once every half hour as long as I store my soul. I notice the injured dwarf and his night elf buddy weren't moving away, and the dwarf wasn't doing anything to heal. So, I ressurrected on the spot, blast the dwarf with a quick fire shot, and he went down. I was laughing so much I didn't care that I died again to the night elf, imagining the look on that guy's face when one second he was standing over a fallen enemy, and the next he had fallen with the enemy standing over him.

There's a level 45+ Night Elf hunter named Vixen on Sargeras who runs around the Hillsbrad areas ganking people with loads of other Alliance... people. If you ever complain about being ganked while doing a quest, people on your own side will start bashing you, going on about how "This is a PvP server ololo". They don't seem to understand that there is a difference between PvP and a bunch of level 40+ ganking everyone in the area. Vixen's been levelling so fast, I wouldn't be surprised if a group of Alliance will be able to take the Tarren Mill guards in a week or two. Major pain in the ass, I really hope they impliment some sort of honor system soon.

I've already made it very, very clear to Nooblet (who's very persistent about it) that I'm not going for an NS themed guild on Sargeras. Partially because we don't have many 'NS people' on the server, but mostly because it gets old after a while (Couple NS clans for Kingdom of Loathing, NS guild for City of Heroes), and I just don't want it to relate to something I don't enjoy anymore.

Actually Sheena, it looks like a screenshoot with added effects from Photoshop or whatever program they use. You can see how the textures aren't perfectly high res. If it was art, everything would be very crisp.

Actually Malevolent, if it was a peice of concept art, it wouldn't be 'high res' or 'crisp'. Concept art is usually sketched, refined, then colored to get an idea across, but doesn't show what the game looks like.

He may have made comments regarding corporate America, Vinnie, but he didn't bring up the points that you did, which leads me to say you're giving him too much credit. It's easy to say there are problems with something, having other people fill in what they think you mean (even when you don't mean anything) can make anyone look like a genious. If he had made any of those points himself, I might be more inclined to think he actually has any real maturity in him.

Fatty won't stop hitting on Hukkresh, my Succubus. I'll have to teach her how to castrate people who get out of line.

I'm greatly enjoying the diversity in gameplay the Warlock presents with the different pets. I can use my voidwalker to tank while I deal most of the damage through curses, ailments, and direct blasts, so I'll use him against tougher enemies (such as unique creeps). However, I do end up using a bit of mana each fight with the Voidwalker, which is why the Succubus is nice for cutting through enemies; She deals a nice amount of damage while I tank a creep, and there's pretty much no downtime for quite a few fights. In a big group with enough tanks and good damage dealers, the Imp provides some nice buffs and has a solid fireball attack. I've yet to get to 30, but I hear the Felhound is good against casters, eating up their mana and whatnot.

Ragefire is an extremely annoying instance, I just really don't like how it's set up. Wailing Caverns is great for drops, although I agree that the Deadmines are awesome. Anyone playing a rogue should try to stealth walk from the entrance to the Goblin forge area sometime; I had to do that twice in Open Beta after almost everyone died, and we needed a third person to get to the Warlock to summon everyone else there. Quite the experience.

This is Grimmus (I was surprised and very pleased to discover the name hadn't been taken) my (at the moment) level 14 Undead Warlock on the Central server Sargeras.

Oh, if you get the chance to listen to it, the soundtrack for the game is very very very cool. An hour and sixteen minutes of awesome orchestral songs, I definitely recommend it.

Well, Engineers don't make any armor, so you wouldn't have to worry about the mail thing, and from what I've seen their weapon creation is limited to guns of varying power.

Intensity Rising: I'd say you're better off saving your money. World of Warcraft has been fun for me, but I wouldn't buy the full version just to play it for a month. Unless you played it a lot and/or joined a power levelling guild, you wouldn't see much of the later game, and it would probably be better to buy a game that you can play as much as you want for the money you've got.

Now, before anyone runs off on a whiny tangent about how "Eww, you have to buy the game, and then buy it again and again every month", stop and think; For those of us that are getting the game, it's obviously entertaining enough to warrant the monthly fee, and it really isn't that much of a problem if you're running off of more than a weekly allowance.
