EDIT: Oh yeah, lerking is really sucks now. In CAL like if the aliens get 3 lerks they just fly around the map and kill marines by the dozen. If I see a lerk I just hit my kill bind and look for the nearest death pit because I know its gonna be all over soon.

It doesn't make sense because there is no clear on what a structure with the intent to block is. The CAL forums explains it best.

Oops, forgot you had to register now to see boards.

Anyways there is a pretty much a general consensus that 2 and 3 contradict each other, so the CAL admins will only enforce #1 as they have been doing. It would be a good practice in futility to try to sort come up with rulings in CC blocking cases.

You know, knife kills are not rare at all in NS. It's about the equivalent of a glock kill in CS.

If you had a long list of welder/parasite kills, that might be interesting, seeing as that would be about the same as knife kills in CS or crowbar/wrench kills in TFC.

This will only have an extremely significant effect for onos.  It will be a small buff to fade/lerk, but the effect will be most noticable when attacking turret farms.

Or a huge buff to a fade, seeing as he no longer has to worry about taking single shots. Often when I fade I find myself at 300 health and 50 armour from harassing marines, forcing me to retreat. With this new system you don't worry about taking light damage because you just regen it immediatly. This allows fades to become much more involved in combat and a fade in a certain situation that used to have to retreat to regen armour will be allowed almost full activity,

What's your cl_cmdrate in NS?

99999 .. IIRC.

That would be your rate or cl_rate, which would be 9999 not 99999.

Depending on your connection, you can probably put your cmdrate to at least above 60. There are a few servers which default your cmdrate and updaterate to 15 for some god forsaken reason, but if you really want them to stay you can just alias them.

If all your rates are in check, then it probably is your mic or you microphone half-life settings.
