Therefore, I propose that man boobs have a direct correlation to hacking. Therefore, a swift act of Congress can make man boobs illegal. After this, all man boobs will be cauterized off all men, therefore ridding the world of hackers and boosting self-esteem. Any foreign hackers will have their countries prosecuted much like Iraq and all man boobs shall be removed. My reasoning and plain of execution are pure genius.

Off Topic / Pros and Cons of Tongue Piercing

I heard that there is one pro to tongue piercing although it does involve somethingn I won't really get into depth about, however if this thingie is a reason for the ring, then you have to weigh the pros/cons, however, if not this imaginary something, then nobody can see it, so what is the point?

Usually, at least when I comm, I tell rines to go in groups or sometimes I even bacon to get them all to go to a spot. Whether it happens or no (most of the time no :angry: ) is up to the team. Honestly, usually a WP is up and rines don't listen, so why would they listen to squad calls?

I was thinking that a boon for rines, which they need, it so change the phasing speed back to what it used to be. Now, if you bacon from pg, it's gone even with 2 skulks on it. They can kill all who pass through it. PG is worthless as an offensive weapon and limits the rine play ability.

Pay attention, you will notice. There are even admins, especially one, who do it all the time. BTW, didn't even say something could be done, just sooo llama. I like having good games and lame quitting at 5 min because you lost a pg isn't good for that.

Now, this is something that has bothered me for some time and I have finally gotten around to posting it. But before I start, by no mean do I mean this to be a rant, because that would defeat the purpose of the post in the first place. Rather, it is meant to be a start to what I hope will be a serious discussion:
Lame quitting, usually by rines, because the end game is longer, is severely affecting the quality of the LM. Most often it happens before all chance of a win or a competative game is gone, rather only when the game is swung from the lame quitters favor. Now, if it were just a public issue, that cannot be solved and just has to be lived with. But it is not. Rather, a number of regs, res slotters and even some admins, one in particular, do it ALL THE TIME. In fact, they announce it: "bbl, be back in a few", etc. Not only is the game then ruined for the remaining players, but IMO, that is unfair use of RS privelage, especially when non-slotters often struggle to get in games. Then the person with the RS rejoins, kicking someone who hasn't lame quit and played through perhaps a slightly unpleasent series.
Well, I guess I have two points: 1. If you are a reg/RS/admin, don't lame quit, it just ruins games and it has been getting more and more common. 2. If you have a RS, then be a little considerate to those you don't and sit through that extra 5-6 minutes of losing.

Most of my thoughts are in the thoughts on 3.0 thread. Jist is, marines must have perfect game or BIG alien screwup to win, while alines just need to not have a two hive lockdown and two rts (ie. chambers in a timely manner.) Not too much else. I am sooo disillusioned. Not please with this beta at all. I fervently hope that the games get better with time, but I don't think it will. At least not nearly to a point of balance.

New thought:
I hate it. For aliens to win all they must do is have 2 rts and just not get a two hive lockdown. Nothing else. In the process get chambers. That's it. Not that hard. For rines, they must do everything correctly. I mean everything. Keep alien res down, keep theirs up, keep base alive, work together (hard concept even on LM), tech and TWO hive lockdown must be had or you lose. Sure it happens once in a blue moon...but it's not fun to play. At least in B5 you had some chance to come back. In this version, it seems that the game gets decided at a point, which is evident clearly while in game and it's a long slow death from there. It's not fun dominating so much and neither is it fun to be dominated all the time.
That said, I do like the changes which have been made, but not the way the whole balance has gotten skewed. Perhaps making fades/onos more expensive would be a solution. Maybe even just un-nerfing seiges. Just my two cents.

I have seen sieges work, just need like 6, instead of 3 last time. Not very cost effective unless it is truly impossible to get in hive. Depending on hive location, sg/hmg rush seems to work the best. Tfs elec with many turrets much better strat. Although, I have commed 3 games and every time I have no resnode until 5 minute mark.....or my whole team leapt into pit. >_<
