And here is another handy error for you....

Your .dll [cl.dlls\client.dll] differs from the servers

I just reinstalled it five minutes before, and restated.

Also, NS does NOT appear in my games, althought there is a nsp folder in the proper directory.  

PS:Does anyone else's brain hurt? mine does.....but that might just be the normal state of confusion

I was just looking at the stats for lm......and i saw someone playing as Johnjacobjingleheimerschmidt.  I looked, and Hes not in his room, and his compy is still there.  Who stole my brothers name?!?

im just wondering, cuz its confusing

ok, i have tried everything suggested in here....and i connected.  But it disconnected and gavge me #gameUI_DisconnectedFromserver.  there were 11 people on ns_hera.

Then i tried again.  this time, ns froze, no error message.  Help?

EDIT: again, and i got this wierd one that looked like a box with a small star on the bottom left corner.  I couldnt get a pic, ns crashed and my cpu shut down too.

HELP!

EDIT (again) :  I was just playing single player opposing force, and it worked fine, but all the multiplayer things are still weird.

I do rage, but I try not to yell at people, mainly becuase i did that when i was a little kid (think 6 years old)  and i did it whenver something went wrong. So i TRY not to get verbally angry.....but that guy stalking you in the shadows with a 6 foot axe of dewm is NOT ME.  I simply decide that when you piss me off, you must be pure 1337 magic and not need meds/ammo/catpaks/guns/armor/weapons/ and/or caek.  So, you odnt get any.  SO DONT ASK WHEN YOU PISSED ME OFF.  THANKS!!!! (and asal, you forgot the pointed ears and the tail)

Also, sorry im not on much.....i have band camp 12 hours a day from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM and its pure pain....but hey, there are some rookies i get to scream at....

anyway, ill be back around saturday or sunday.

Hey I just want to apologize to all of you people out there who have been unfairly subjected to my rather severe cases of commrage.  You see, I absolutely hate it when people refuse to comm, and then criticize the one who does.  Usually i just ignore you, or mute you, but sometimes i'm just ahving a bad day and hence, then Commrage.  That, and some people just piss me off.......So, I apologize.   End Apology.

i have a question.

If i move most of the team to a location (say....EM drill shaft) but keep a small base in MS..is it a relocate?

If so, then if you are really lucky, yoyu dont have to worry about deciding between res relocates and area relocates.  Put a base at each one, and the aliens will be all like OMG HAXBBQ and nnot be able to decide what to kill first.

anyway, tthats the strat im working on....doulbe base FTW!

A Few Good Points :

1).  If you are like the average person and have not read I, Robot, then its a fiairly good movie.  

2).  If you are a member of the population and HAVE read the book, then it sucks.  At least, until you realize that only the title is the same, not the plot/story.  of course, the book had no plot, for it twas a series of short stories.

3).  It is "suggested by the book by isaac asimov"  at least, thats what i thought i saw when i saw it in the theatre.   AKA-  ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THE SAME

4).  It was made by hollywood.  'nuff said

5).  They would ahve been better off basing it on other robot books.... i.e.  "The Caves of Steel"  or "The Robots of Dawn".

6). Blah.  i think im done now....anything else i can rant about?

meh, my problem with "omg what team to join??" is that yeah, i'm a good player.  But more often than not, i forget whats going on and end up being a liability, not a help.  And this isnt just one of those "oh its a bad day i suck".  Its a " OH MY GORSH KODIAC HAS HIS NEGATIVE AIMBOT ON AND CANT HIT A STATIONARY SKULK TO SAVE HIS LIFE!!!"  thing.  So i ask before i join, "who wants me?" and that usually works.  (if/wehn teams are even) If loch is one team i join the other out of spite  :p  but me and asal have a problem, he sits 10 feet away and we can hear what each other say...so if hes aliens. then he hears EVERY word i say.  (not waht you say, but what i say)  Its rather straange, but it works.so yaeh, skill/team stacking is a recognized problem, but only induvidual players can do anything aobut it.  (without admin interference, of course)

besides, i like switching teams.  then no matter who wins i was/am on the winning team.
