What do you wanna do with MIS? Most of the folks i've seen in the industry with MIS are QA or BAs.
I work for the government after 7 years studying Molecular Biology/Genetics (with a final year and thesis focusing on virology/parasitology).
Doesn't that look good on paper eh?
In my spare time I do the Alien v models pack and various other bits and pieces, as well as debug a buggy mod for Star Trek Armada II and work on my e-novel, The Art of Warhammer.
btw anyone else use Cosmos UI tweak? highly recommended :> coolest features are a quest tracker that displays active quest objectives, additional toolbars, a DPS tracker (including DPS for each of your spells, pet, etc), auto-tell group when you need healing, etc etc etc.YES. i keep telling doobie nooblet and grimm to get cosmos. it rocks.
it's also very modular, and I plan on adding a couple features tonight - such as a bag autosort mechanism, and a macro to use my warlock's healthstones without having to re-drag it to the toolbar every time I use one...
*polymorphs thorax*OMG KITTY
aww how cute, hes a critter
I'm greatly enjoying the diversity in gameplay the Warlock presents with the different pets. I can use my voidwalker to tank while I deal most of the damage through curses, ailments, and direct blasts, so I'll use him against tougher enemies (such as unique creeps). However, I do end up using a bit of mana each fight with the Voidwalker, which is why the Succubus is nice for cutting through enemies; She deals a nice amount of damage while I tank a creep, and there's pretty much no downtime for quite a few fights. In a big group with enough tanks and good damage dealers, the Imp provides some nice buffs and has a solid fireball attack. I've yet to get to 30, but I hear the Felhound is good against casters, eating up their mana and whatnot.everytime i see the succubus i do a /v flirt or /v kiss
Ragefire is an extremely annoying instance, I just really don't like how it's set up. Wailing Caverns is great for drops, although I agree that the Deadmines are awesome. Anyone playing a rogue should try to stealth walk from the entrance to the Goblin forge area sometime; I had to do that twice in Open Beta after almost everyone died, and we needed a third person to get to the Warlock to summon everyone else there. Quite the experience.
