I'm really good, and I just got informed tonight my college is having a blitz (10 minute or less) tournament for scholarship money on saturday..1st place gets $800.

Doh, I forgot completely about steam board games..probably alot easier and less confusing to just play on it.

-Bridge, My grandfather used to play all the time..never quite figured it out myself. I remember him playing in tournaments and online too, I'll put it on my list of things to learn next to backgammon.

I know for a fact that FICS is free, USCL (where I mainly play) has some sort of basic trial where you can play unrated games only. Here's a couple of links.

* - FICS doesnt allow you to register if you dont have a 'real' email, they wont allow you to use yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc.

I usually just stick to LM, but occassionaly venture out to other servers if I cant get in LM Seems like this is one of the few places you can get a quality game going on a regular basis.

Plus, I've been banned from other servers for 'hacking' - wont name names.

Jethro Tull, Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bad Company, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman brothers, Jeff Beck, Cream.

Although all these guys are pretty mainstream, they're not as popular as they used to be. They're more tailgating material, since the accepted steady dose of rap and country is used in parties nowadays. I still rock out to them though.  ^_^

Aye, I could add a few more to that list as well. Probably some of the best music exist in the classic rock genre. My friends always kid me about listeneing to "your parents music" - insert rant here.  <_<

Agreed Duck. I sally up and listen to slotters when they ask me to do things as comm. But sometimes I get people who I have never seen before act as though they are commanding. Really pisses me off, but dont let it get you down.

Not sure. Have you tried adjusting mp_decals ?

I'm pretty sure that has something to do with sprays showing up.
