Me, I =do= listen to the commander like a zombie.  I've lost track of how many times I've died trying to get to a waypoint that the commander has forgotten about... :D

As for commrage, how about commrage-by-proxy?  One game (on Lost) we had only 3 marines on the ground, and one spent the WHOLE game sitting in base whining for a welder.  Even picked up one of our shotties, and STILL stood around in base asking for a welder, after Saltz basically told him to go to hell.  So, I reclaimed the shotgun... by SHOOTING HIM IN TEH FAEC.

Back when TF first came out for QW (playing it under Q1 kinda blew) some friends and I started a clan, and decided to make it Warhammer-40k-themed... so I changed my name to Plaguebearer, the name of the daemon servants of Nurgle, Plague Lord of Chaos.  And, I always played medic, loved running up, tagging someone with bioweapon, and escaping while they died...

ThoraX: I bought better tires right away, too... since it was all I could afford. :D  Even with Rally tires, traction is some kind of on-again off-again Schroedinger's Cat like quantum effect in HL Rally world... blink and it disappears.

I think most of the lag people experienced was from not having the minimap... which IS in the zip file :p

The thing about the light sprites - I use flare3.spr; it just so happens that the res nozzles do too.  It's not an intentional usage of node sprites - it's just the only one that ns doesn't screw around with that I think fits.

...since 99% of the suckiness in CS is the PLAYERS.

Saltz, in that game, you were saying we could get by off three nodes.  We only had four because I cashed in my rfk for building another node.

I never insinuated that gorge=teamplay.  But I do insist that without res, aliens lose.  It's simple enough to go gorge, drop a res, go back skulk, and go about your business.  That res then parlays into more available defenses, upgrades, lifeforms...
