Today is Cinco de Mayo, a day celebrated in Mexico for when they stopped a French invasion.
Today is Childrens day in Thailand, Japan and South Korea
Today is Liberation day in Denmark, Ethiopia, and the Netherlands.
Today is Buddha's Birthday in Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
Today is No pants day, for anyone who feels the need to not wear pants.
Though something tells me wikipedia lied to me about at least one of these things

Today is also my birthday, and somehow in all you're celebrating of those other things, you guys forgot to post about it. I'm hurt. Really. I am.

Yeah.. I have an X800 and my processor is only 1.8ghz (Athlon XP2200+ I think) and I run everything on high with only a few problems with slow down =D

I quit wow recently. It was the hardest thing in my life.. that I can remember.. of the last three months.
Except the time I tried to quit the internet. But I think we all know how that turned out.
and thats why I'm no longer allowed within 100 feet of an elementary school.

Yar.. got it the other day. So far I'm a level 8 (Holding off on level 9) Cat-man thief.
Though I should have probably gone as an Archer or something. I haven't stolen anything yet.. or murderated something =/
Though I did the same thing with fable. Played through as a nice guy, then murdered everyone. They never saw it coming.  

Also.. can you only join a single guild? if so, is it possible to leave a guild once joined and join a different one? or is it the sort of a life contract?

I lack the ability to actually watch things on TV, as sucb I cannot comment on Season 2 until they make me some damned DVDs, or I torrentz it. One or the other. But I'm too lazy to torrent, so DVDs it is!

I enjoyed the first Season of Lost, though I don't think I would have had I watched it on TV. I'd probably get frusterated with the general pacing of the plot. They did some really plot intensive episodes at the beginning and then it got really thinned out later. I understand the reasoning behind making the beginning very plot intensive, as, being a new show they would need something to hook people on, but later in the season there were just so many damn 'filler' episodes and cliff hangers that didn't even get adressed for another 3 episodes that I'm surprised people actually held out to the end.
For example, the end of Episode 18 "Numbers" they do the whole zoom in on the hatch and leave that. Its not till the last couple minutes of the season finale (episode 24) that they do anything with that information.
Thats about 8 episodes, so at 1 episode a week (I think thats how shows work, haven't watched TV on any sort of a regular basis in over 5 years lol) that comes out to 2 months.
They way I see it, the only cliffhangers that should be left more than a month are the season finale ones, and even then those are just kinda cop outs that remind me why I stopped watching TV.

and yes, Sayid is hawter than Sawyer.

That doesn't mean you will be able to use GC controllers to play Revolution games though.
I mean, look at the PS2. Its compatible with PS1 dual-shock controllers, but for most games they will not accept them, regardless of the fact that from the outside they look exactly the same. I understand Nintendo isn't sony and such, but at the same time, the jump from the GC to the revolution controller is pretty big compared to from the ps1 to the ps2 controller. I doubt the game developers will bother putting the time into making their games compatible with the GC controller.

Uh.. wtf.
They make what I consider the most confortable, natural feeling controller to date with the Gamecube, then go and throw it all away...
Exactly how is half a controller and a TV remote innovation?

I can't even imagine how they would expect one to play something like Metriod prime on that thing.

Edit: I just had to say that.. upon further inspection, it would appear they already have that mostly worked out. Curse you nintendo!
Though, they failed to mention how one might change weapons in the demonstration.. It was done by the c-stick on the gc, and that controller definitely does not have a c-stick..
