I agree, the avatar is VERY bad to read, and the sig is possably too dark. I may tweak with it some more.

Off Topic / Tenchi Muyo Gxp

I like Tenchi Muyo, but i don't like it enough to go out and blow $25 per DVD, that and the artwork for this anime looks crappy compaired to the older Tenchi Muyo. The charectors look completely different. Skimpy clothes are ok some of the time, but tenchi was made more for the plot than to show off the animator's ability to draw a nearly naked woman. (You can tell from the web page that it's a major part of the new Tenchi Muyo GXP)

ELECTRIFY. You COULD go and build 3 turrets near base and spend the same res... but aliens can find a hole in most turret setups. A well-placed elec. TF in base will keep the skulks away.
At res nodes I still think it's a good idea to Electrify. I'm not to great at holding onto resnodes without elec. Electrified Res also give you a good opportunity to place phase gates without having to worry about keeping them alive through the earlier parts of the game.

General / What Do You Think Of The Lerk?

I LOVE that lerk got bite back. Shooting projectiles made the lerk a long range only, but now we've got spore for long range AND bite, so it's a little more balanced. You don't get raped by a ton of lerks camping (it shotld be easy to get away from spore without dieing so much).
I'm not so happy about the new flying system, partialy... because the glide animation doesn't work, and because i don't want to have to hold jump yo glide. It would be cool if you could set it up so you'll flap and start gliding without having to hold anything. twould be leet. Another, probably better reason, is because i don't like to have to relearn my flapping.
