try playing with your HUD.txt that goes along with your models, it changes your crosshair jump. hence it being banned from league play along with replacing sniping sprites.

I dunno bout that mang, I remember having it and playing it around that time, and also playing Quake in that era as well.. Maybe it is true that your mind does go away when you get older :blink:

I used to use custom models, then it became a big hassel. Also when you change out player models the skins don't always work correctly.. Example of this is when you see ally or enemy models running around you seem them strafing backwards it looks like they are moonwalking as opposed to running backwards. Also the hitboxes are really weird with custom skins, you can put a clip of bullets into the head of a custom model and hit nothing but air. Changing out gun models is cool though, but they have been known to modify the crosshair and recoil of the gun when it changes the HUD of the model.

I used to go to www.cs-skins.net but that site closed down awhile ago.

I haven't played the new NS, but I don't believe they ever set up their models to have moving mouths with the mic. Its a neat and funny feature but it eats FPS and I don't think they wanna waste the time to recode their models :p

i'm simply posting maps that are fun and you don't have to download a 5 MB map.

if you want custom maps then i'd suggest like cs_arabstreets and several aim maps.

In 1.6 beta the shield sucked so bad.. 4 shots from an AK would go straight through the shield and kill the holder. It was like standing behind a crate and yelling "EVERYONE SHOOT ME!!" The shield is a part of the game, just like the AWM/AWP. The coders have been doing the best they can to make it even, but if you play with experienced players who know how to take down a shielder then it doesn't really matter.

Best method: 2-3 round bursts with your rifle/smg to get close then at blank point range jump into him and follow his noggin then spray like a mad man at his head. :blink:

Oh snap Radeon is back

Bob told me you guys had a Cstrike server, soooo I popped in a played for a few maps. Um Cs Experience.. Errr ehh.. umm.. I've been playing CS since I was 14.. I r teh 20 now soon to be 21 on Monday.. So I been playing this craphole of a game for about 7 years or so?

Started in 1.2 > played through 1.3 > CAL-M in 1.4/5(since the days of 1.4 were so short lived) > and now I just server hop in 1.6
