General / Don't Piss Me Off.

I used to give gorge RT eggs at the very beginning of the game a quick bite if they were gestating miles away from marine start, just because they get it all of the health back upon hatching.  Bothers some people though, so I haven't done it in months.  Sorry if I pissed you off back in the day

Just so everyone is aware (I'm sure most of you are), aliens now retain damage they had taken while egging.

Also, as far as I know, having duels with teammates under mutual agreement is still NOT ALLOWED.  I see it too many times...two pubbers join, find out that FF is on, and decide to have a knife dual.  Then they're like, "hes my bud, he dont care when i hurt him!" and I'm forced to tempban/ban them.  It doesn't work towards the team's goals and is annoying as hell.  Don't do it!

Oh, and PLEASE take it easy on people for accidental team damage.  I have heard from another OldF member that he refuses to play on LM because he was once yelled at, and threatened to be banned for accidentally parasiting a teammate.  Guys, this is unacceptable.

And on that note, the other day I accidentally shot Athena in the face with a pistol because my mouse hit the keyboard  Stuff like that happens.

Yes, like being electricuted by a res tower, and trying to use metabolize to keep your health up.  It doesn't help at all because it will keep healing the 5 or whatever hp and never stay full long enough to get an extra boost of armor.  If balance is an issue, increase the damage of the LMG, gg?

EDIT:  Just figured out what you guys meant by regen overflow.  That pisses me off.  That was one of the things in b5 I was looking forward to the most.

Oh, and from what I've heard b5 isn't even worth playing.  Getting locked up and not being able to pick weapons?  Blocking absolutely harmless scripts?  Admin mod not working?  Giving marines x more advantage?

I'll stick with doom 3, thanks.

And to be a little bit more specific on the crappy map changes:

ns_bast, no more revolving door...no more elevator of dewm that I loved to put OCs on  

ns_lost, siegeroom window can be broken

Yeah, pretty much what necro said.

Is this the beginning of the end of NS?

Actually, I've been having a very odd problem myself.  Ever since I got a new motherboard/processor/RAM (same vid card) and reformatted my comp, any time that I right-click or try to delete, or copy/cut/paste a video file like .mpg or .avi (of any size), my monitor shuts off and turns back on real quick, like my monitor is changing video modes or something, and also windows makes a beep at me.  Not that big of a deal, I can still delete or modify these files, its just kind of annoying and weird.

Wow, some good lists by owl, esuna, and satanic.  Just packed up my big 6 foot stack of game boxes so I'll have to break those out later and find some good ones.  Maybe even power up my 486 if I'd be arsed to do so.  Here's a few, they may not be "influencial" but they're classics nonetheless:

Woah woah, do the players actually teleport to another location to fight the monsters ala ff7?  This looks so damn good, you definitely need to fix it.  Hell, I'll fix it if you want me to.  I don't know how to map in WC3 but I assume its just busy work fixing triggers, right?
