Hope your friend in hospital pulls through TAK, though I am sorry to hear about your other friend.   My father died in a car wreck too, he wasn't wearing his seatbelt.  So those few seconds it takes to click it, could be worth a lifetime.

Ok to bring this thread back on topic.  Caught it on a whim yesterday.  Just positively loved it. I have to say it was the best comic book adaptation I have seen to date.  Until this Batman movie, Spiderman was my favorite comic book adaptation movie.

There is just so much about this movie to enjoy.  Predictable, yeah, a few holes, yeah, but still it was awesome.  I almost did not see it because of Katie Holmes, but I am glad I saw it.  Wolfwood, you should tell your girlfriend to give it a try.

Well first off congrats on the shiny new house.  110K is a crazy cheap when compared to some places such as Silicon Valley.  Nothing beats the new house experience, unless you are into fixer-uppers.

That said, expect small delays.  It may take a little closer to four months unless this builder is just slapping them together with a cookie cutter and he is very efficient.

My current house ended up taking 2 months longer than anticpated to complete, but I'm a happy camper in it.  :)

Been busy playing tour guide.  Haven't played  much since the 14th and I won't be able to play anything till the 25th.  OMG I am suffering serious withdrawals!  I'll be back soon.

BTW Bryan, spell checkers are overrated, especially in your case.  :p

At the risk of restarting the Garlic Wars I was just wondering in CFM's version would the garlic be baked or raw?

Still it was awesome.

Sunny side up means a fried egg, not turned over.  Over easy means you fry it then turn it over so that the yolk is just slightly cooked.

Ok time to wake up all Chefs again.  :)

Nice egg sandwich Temm.  Mine is done slightly differently.  I like to saute some sliced onions and sliced red chili peppers, then add the beaten egg to the saucepan.  Let it set as an omelette.  Add a slice of cheese to the toast, the omelette on top of the cheese, then a slice of ham, top off with the other slice of toast.  Emm then feed it to the cat :p

Although there are three exits from that hive, the problem is that a marine in the hallway looking into the hive with the RT at his back will have lots of chances to kill spawning skulks.  It has been mentioned that alens do spawn in that hallway, thus making that hallway in question part of the hive. Most aliens who spawn there with pretty much zero chance of survival against a marine in that hallway with semi decent aim.

The CEP Nexus was one of the really good PWs out there Necrosis.  There was a strong community at the time I played.  If it is still around it's full of devilishly fun puzzles in addition to hack and slash, plus part of the community role played as well.  Also the treasure system on the boss drops was unique.  They have a 3 100d roll to determine what the boss dropped when you killed him.  Only the slayer of the boss would see the roll.  So if the Nexus is still out there, I think you may actually enjoy that particular PW, as long as you don't get in the bad books of Xang.  :)

As for playing it, well I recently uninstalled it from my system.  So the answer to all this is no.  :)

That's what I thought about the "good parts book" being a joke, cos every search I did for S. Morgenstern came up empty.  But you're saying that the book did actually come first, so surely that would count as a book that made into a good movie?

The LOTR series and The Princess Bride.

I think those were four of the best movies from books.  Although I suspect that with The Princess Bride, the movie came first, then he wrote the book.  So then it won't count eh?

**edited  because it made more sense to say four as opposed to two.  So I can't count.  :p

Coffee is my addiction, but I play NS for the fun!  CS and DoD are just too darned difficult for me because I never know who is a friend and who is an enemy because the uniforms look similar (call that boring!)

Ohh and what goldy said... flying, it is so much fun, whether it is JP or lerk, it's all fun, even tho I die faster than a bug on  the windshield.

Glad to know you're better and back on your feet, erm at least in your chair playing NS.

That's a scary thing hearing about the bacteria resisting the powers of Amoxicillin, although it is getting to be a more common tale these days.   Fortunately they didn't have to pull out the big gun Vancomycin.   :)

Now you should just drink lots of hot tea with lemon, play lots of ns, rest, play yet more ns....

The poll really needs a third option.  It sounds like a lot of us are willing to have a trial period where we take it off.  Personally I would love to see FF stay, but I am more than willing to give it a trial to see if the FF is truly unbalancing the game.
