William and Mary- Steam works.  Never had a problem with pings.  Just as your computer is reasonably secure, you can do most anything.

A gravity gun for marines would be awesome you have to admit.  Either broken or pointless, but cool.

All the better to play on NES.  Hopefully it won't be as hard as Battletoads.

It's Slackware Version 10.

As when you'll see me again on Lunixmonster, it might be a while.  Basically I've got to figure out if I can get away with a Windows emulator or get Windows working again.

As many of you know I've been gone for a while now.  The reason is that I've headed back to class and generally have been busy.

Events of the past month+
-Spent a straight weekend at Magfest.  Magfest is a great gaming con in the Williamsburg area, if you live nearby it GO TO IT.  I also own a HL2 CD that contains footage from the game which looks sexier than Merk's mappage.
-Done lots of exams of the Biology, Chemisty and Physics type.  Never underestimate the evil that is a Benzene ring when not doing Philosophy papers on why Descates is a n00b.
-I am a Lunixmonster!  As of October 9th, my computer has been running Slackware Linux.  This means I'll have to get off my lazy butt and install WinXE and HL as Valve hates client side of Linux.

So I'm not dead.  I'm just MIA!

I went with B as I want fun.  However more often than not, many losing games aren't that fun.

The other rulebooks are nice, but really are needed for everyone.  I mean M&M has some nice cyberware and the even better counterpart bioware, MiTS has all sorts of magic junk, but they really aren't needed.  As for guns, The Shadowrun Gun Page.

Shadowrun is a cyberpunk/fantasy mix.  Think Bladerunner meets Tolkien for starters.  The basic idea is while the future become a near future dystopia, magic returned to the world.  You play as shadowrunner, criminials hired by corporations to do various illegal things.  It's a great setting if the rules have their problems.

It should be noted that the above link leads to a Shadowrun Duels site, a different game set in the same universe.

Shadowrun would be interesting with U-235 as a GM.  And yes, I'll send you D56 Shadowrun once I'm done.

All I got to do is knife HD once....

Also I don't think the crowbars should count either as it's pretty easy to crowbar people in DM like that.  Heck I've done it!

Wait, that can't be Ness!  The ping is too low.   :p  Good job either way.

My guess is that everyone has bad days when they are totally nub and that's what everyone remembers.  Sort of like me forgetting the weld spot for the wall on tanith causing the marine shotty rush to utterly fail (it used to the wall serious!).  If I was "NSPlayra" or "Smartbomb" or something, people would be complaining about all the noobs invading LM when they are already here.

Also I end doing lots of "waypoint ramboing" as well.  I blame rfks as it makes the "suicidally following orders like the RTS grunt you are" strategy self-defeating.  But that’s a rant for another day.  :p

General / Sekrat On Nancy
« on: May 16, 2004, 07:38:17 PM »
My guess is a memoir of the old rr of nancy in which the Star Wars Catina music played.  Flayra asked it to be removed as he didn't want to risk a possible lawsuit.  The odds of one are pretty slim I believe but would nuke NS if it happened.

Odd relocations always add new flavor to a game of NS.  Just as long as the Comm realizes that beacon sends you to the MS not the relocated spot.

LM isn't linux?  Does this mean LB is really Bill Gates?  Does it mean all my life has been a lie?

I was bored one night trying in random names into Google to see what I can get (oddly Hida Tsuzua and HidaTsuzua turn up different results).  Anyways, I googled the local engima, Geminosity, and got this site: Gem revealed!.  It should be noted that Gem seems to be from the UK and still doesn't reveal her gender.  Either way, the mystery of the Gem is so much nearer to being solved.  Thank you for your time.

My guess is that the older ones have been taken down by the website to free up bandwidth/space.
