Just saw this announcement on the NS forums. Has this already gone live on Lunixmonster or is it about to?  

The Natural Selection development team is proud to introduce NS 3.0.3. This server-side patch (end players don't need to update) includes minor number tweaks to improve the damage done by siege bases (reducing the number of strikes needed to kill a hive by 3 siege cannons by 1 blast) and an armor change that should increase the early marine survivability vs upgraded skulks by allowing them to take one more bite. Late game marines will not notice much of a difference.

The Update is as follows:
* +5 armor (each armour level is now +5) for LA and JP marines.
* 380 siege damage. (+50 siege damage from 3.0f)

Off Topic / Why in the citadel make it so easy to stay alive?

Maybe its just me but this took the fun out of HL2 slightly.

Up to this point its been a fight for survival, especially when going up against striders and the likes. But then suddenly they give you an overpowered gun that can pull anything around and flings people like dolls, but not just that they give you a recharger that puts you to full health and full shields every 100 meters!!! WTF!

Does anyone else feel this was strange?

Rant:

What is it about FF that attracts such Pains in the proverbial!!! Tuesday night had about 3 games ruined in a row due to TKers and their antics.

I just can`t understand it myself. The mentality that says I`m going to join a game and then start shooting everyone on my side deliberatly just to annoy them!! Or I`ll shoot the cc until the commander gets out and then spend all his res on mines!!!! ARRRRGGHHH

Rant over.
