General / Magnum.

This is the 4th time in 2 days I've gone on a server, and all it is, is a magnum whoring session. You can't spawn without getting whored by one. Its a physical impossibility. It makes coming on the server not fun, and it removes any fun that it may have had thanks to the fact that it goes through any item you may be carrying with the grav gun(thus, no way to counter the weapon).

I'm looking to see who else here things the gun is so overpowered that we have it removed from MP until underpowered, or have LB himself alter damage on it to half of what it is.

General / A Problem With Regs.

See, I had 2 different games yesterday where I was comming, and the exact same thing happened on both.

Basically, us marines were just OWNING the entire map. Were kickin ass, taking names, and have a res flow like the missisippi river. I'm thinking "Man, this team kicks ASS." We LMG rush their upgoing 2nd hive, take it, and begin to prepare the rush on the final hive.

I give my marines exact orders(its eclipse)- go to Comm Core, but go through the vent so you can get on top of the hive quickly. They weren't hard orders, and my team was 100% people-who-knew-what-they-were-doing.

Well, at the end of station access, suddenly everything goes to s***. 2 people break off towards South Loop, 2 more going to the OTHER side of comm core, and only 2 actually in the vent. Well obviously, the people who went the 2 ways I specifically said not to go, died. My vent people lasted long enough to get a phase in the vent, but by this time the aliens had taken so many nodes, I couldn't drop too many more JPs.

Then, a few hours later on Veil, I comm again, thinking "This can't happen twice." Well, we take subsector, and hold it the entire game.We then try to take Cargo- and take it down thanks to siege. Then as were trying for Pipe, they put Cargo back up. Now, we take quite a long time to take Pipe, and we finally do at the exact moment their 2nd hive goes up, so their left with one hive. Now, we go for Cargo again. I tell everyone lets just fly in there and get it with JPs. Well right off the bat, 2 people go to double. Then 2 to subsector, and 1 returns to base and humps the armory for another 5 minutes. Then 2 others go to Pipe, and die. So does the 2 in double. Well, eventually, the subsector people understand "Yeah, lets go!" but by this time, I've got a phase in the vent next to cargo. They walk in, are about to take it, but get spored and the such and lose it.

So let me just say something to you regs: DO NOT STOP TRYING TO WIN UNTIL YOU HEAR THE EFFING MUSIC PLAY. YOU DECIDING WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO IS OKAY BECAUSE YOUR WINNING IS THE STUPIDEST IDEA YOU HAVE EVER HAD. NEVER DO IT AGAIN!

Off Topic / Final Hope Faith

I already cleared this with JHunz, and I know a lot of you saw it on the NS forums. I just wanted to make sure that those that don't frequent those see this.

Final Hope Faith

This board is a place where Christians of any kind can come to talk about their religion, beliefs, and interests with other Christians on a level that is a bit more in tune with the religion. It welcomes all kinds of Christians, but especially, gamers.

The point of this Board is not so much to acquire new Christians as it is to give Christian gamers a place to congregate.  It is also to reach out to those Christians who have fallen out of it because of their local religion's ways of doing things, which I've personally noticed to be quite hypocritical, and NOT according to how the Bible says it should be handled. Its okay if you go to these Churches if you like them, but frankly, many of us feel too confined, and almost as if we are constantly beat up while we are there for living a life different from theirs, yet not the sinning life (such as playing Violent video games, obviously- its not a sin, people!).

I also invite people of any other religion to come and say what they want here, as long as they don't bash us or anything, flame, or anything of the type. Just act intelligent, and everyone is welcome.

I hope you all find something here you'll like- I'm sure this will become something people will like one day with its purpose. Also, DO in fact invite your Christianity-curious friends to the forums, because we do have a section for them and even though its not the purpose of this board, it can and WILL be done (the telling about the religion and the such).

Once again, I invite all of you, and either way wish luck to you in life(man thats OOC isn't it?)

General / I Just Read A Older Post(thats Still On The Front)

It was by Bob- as said, Lunixmonster(and Nano before it) were ALWAYS known for having serious rules, very heavy, and a very big deal. I remember the first night on Nano that I had- I got banned for cussing and generally being a butt. LB quickly banned me, and I begged for forgiveness and proved the first impression wrong(luckily).

After that, Lunix came. While I didn't like Nano dying, it was a great new server, and I got to meet many of the admins of the NS forums.

Well, my love grew over time. But then one day...I slowly stopped playing NS. Seems I did at the right time- newbs showed up soon and ruined it. Then it supposedly got its "Greatness" back. Now it seems its nub-filled again.

I dunno. Maybe its just me, but it seems the ban hammer still needs to come down hard. 1 warning, ban right after. No need for anything else(especially now that we can tell who admins are, usually).

I just hope the banfest begins, because I'll sure as hell be glad for it.

And its good to be back guys, its good to be back.
