Well, think of it this way.  We (most of us) live in a nation where people can sue for spilling hot coffee on themselves, AND WIN.  banning these books is simply better then being sued for milllions of dollars.  While it may not be right, its a sad thing that it is present in todays socieity.

another part of whats wrong with our world. im trying to come with a better way of doing things but, it a lot harder than it looks. the "human factor" really makes things difficult. A dictator ship is simply out of the question. there are to many people for one Person to look after so.... that leaves checks and balances system (our goverment). we need a simple vague sat of rules (guidelines really) (a constiution) but, people take a dvantage of it and then we need set in stone laws and  this is where it all falls apart. The problem with socity is people.

Bryan

what im trying to say is insted of complaining about our world (which i do a lot) we need to find a better way. I say develop a new goverment(on paper) write a book about it. or rather about people who live in this new world to show how you have thought of every thing. Publish it and allow our goverment to ban it...in fear and let the revelotion begin!!!

not, not really. In fact I hate you all but, equally. I'm an equal oppertunity hater.

anyways the point of this thread.

http://title.forbiddenlibrary.com/

I dont read much but, as it turns out, most of my fav. books have been banned at one point or another. An entire list of books baned for really stupid reasons. I have read about 25 to 30% of them. I really don't understand. We all have the power to change the world. whay not add something to it insted of acting on stupid fears to take away from others. Maybe im just really tired. you tell me.

Thank you fool for explaining all that... not that I necessarily agree to your views, but at least you explained them for each topic. That's what I'd like to see more of.

I do it a lot when I get around to reading the forums >_>, you don't have to agree either I mean I can't force you to vote Fewl for president unless I HOLD YOUR MOTHER HOSTAGE AND DEMAND YOU VOTE FOR ME(which I totally didn't do... yet).

Bryan I have to agree with you, when you see the developers more you get to like them  and want to support them more then people you have never even heard of over the internets. Games which are slowly developed and users are allowed to play while it is being developed are also more fun for a longer period of time because they could change/add features which make the game more fun(or break LOLOL!)

after reading my Dr. Pepper indused blabbering im inpressed you made cents of any of it.

none!
They're both stupid, filled with shallow people looking to get laid and grab some E.
WHILE thinking they're artistic for listiening to the boops and zah beeps.
And the males who go are slimey sleazy bastards whom I dislike very much.
I may be wrong but I don't care! Hoolay!

I like boops and zah beeps.
