I want to see both of those movies, but I know Pan's Labyrinth was or still is on a limited showing, and I seem to recall something similar about Children of Men. Plus, Ann Arbor only shows a few movies at a time, unless you go to Briarwood, which is showing neither of them.

I'm not exactly sure if this is a bug, but every time I browse the forums, I have to log back in, even if the last time I logged in, I chose to stay logged in forever. Also, when I'm on the forums as a guest, the Off-Topic forum exists, but when I log in, it doesn't. There's just the Discussion index and dev/null.

A few months ago, I bought an HP dv5000 laptop. Of course, it came preinstalled with tons of stuff I would never use, but couldn't delete. I lived with it.

Fast forward to today. I got pretty sick of all the clutter, so I decided to format my hard drive and install with the XP Media Center CD that came with the computer. Anyway, a few hours later, I restart after installing the OS and drivers and find that instead of going straight to the "Welcome" screen, I'm looking at a menu telling me to choose which OS to boot: XP Media Center, or XP Pro.

The fact that the clutter on my hard drive was never removed and was simply reinstalled with the OS I'll deal with, but I'm not sure what to do about this. Anyone know?

Wow, that's completely the opposite of what I expected - I had already seen The Cave before I first saw an ad for The Descent, so I guess my expectations plummeted. If it's really that good, I'll give it a shot.

NS both helped me and hurt me in high school. Twitching to shoot moving skulks made my handwriting a lot faster; on the other hand, my hands got cramped up easily. Oh well.

I think paintball tends to be more expensive, depending on relative qualities. I prefer airsoft for that reason and the fact that it's a bit easier to clean up (or not clean up, if you use biodegradable BBs).

I think it's being developed by the same people who made the Ground Control games. From what I read in Game Informer, it's going to have some of the defining features from those games: less base-building, more combat and lower tactics or something. I remember hearing about this a while back.. it looks good.

Not going to Wal-Mart is a good choice. Another good retailer (USA) is Airsoft Atlanta, although the shipping charges may be higher depending on where you live. Just avoid the Chinese manufacturers.
