On my laptop i use:

AdBlock - Blocks alot of annoying ads
AdBlock Filterset.G Updater - A filter, works great combined with AdBlock.
HTML Validator - HTML Validator directly in your browser, also suggests how to fix any errors
IE Tab - View the current tab in IE, inside Firfox!

I wanted the same feel as opera, just not the browser itself, since not as many websites support it. I kind of have an opera-themed Firefox.

I know I posted about FasterFox a while ago but just now I got on a bit of a spree when I found some really useful extensions. I'll make a list of what I am using so far and my source.

so far I first got:

Fasterfox, as previously posted
Status Bar: Similar to Opera's
Gspace - use Gmail as an upload/download host
ForecastFox: forecast for your region which appears at the bottom right corner

I found most of my extensions here, you might find more that serve you a better purpose.

I've seen it numerous times on discovery, it's a jawsome sight but thank god they never dropped it on a country or whatnot.

pre-fetching is already turned off; if you check the load timer and right click it, go to options and click FasterFox tab, you see that Enhanced Prefetching is not enabled

 I tried it, seems to be going faster, you can read on the documentation to find out what it does and how. It has this little page timer in the bottom right corner to show how much time it took to generate the page.

The popup blocker setting also work better with this.

His ISP is acting like a tard and prefers giving him BS every time he calls because they keep notes on him because they know he knows their service is poo.

For a sample of their tardship, they sent him a power adapter when he called to have a replacement modem once his 2nd one died; mind you, the first lasted long enough and the second was only a few days old.

just been knowticing a lack of LB's presence around recently...  If he's just bored of hanging around that's cool, but there's a few things he should have probably delt with first, I know lowcrawler would think so.  I like devnull running things, he's a great guy, just kindof made me wonder why I haven't seen LB around in a good forever...
