Off Topic / World Of Warcraft Release!

Hey guys,

WHOOP!!!     WOW + Lunixmonster = AWSOME!  I was hoping there would be a lunixmonster guild on WOW eventually, I was lucky enough to play in the open Beta and it was AWSOME!!!  Can't wait to get it.  Most likely I will be restarting my cahracter that I lost at the end of open beta  <_<     I had a lvl 24 dwarven Pally....      Ohh well.  The name will be Kaelif and I'll be on any server you guys plan to use.  Although it would be cool, if it was a PVP server..... Don't know why it wouldn't be.  PVP is fun.....   .

     Anyway, I was playing JA and this idea just happened to pop in my head when the infinite number of cultists on speeders started lining up.  I actually killed so many they started comming in on foot.... well why not?  I had all the speeders...   :lol:

Short of replacing my motherboard, nic, audio, I really dont think thats an option :/

And if I would have to go that far, I would just get a new comp

No one has mentioned this so I thought I would... Most Motherboards come with the NIC and Audio integrated on the board.  And they really aren't all that bad either.

Hey Cartman... Wow the south park gang back together again...lol.  I just built a new comp. and on the RAM may I suggest getting 1 gig Corsair's Dual Channel RAM.  That is what I put in mine and it PAWNES.  Also I would have to agree about the RADEON 9800 Pro, or even better the XT.... but thats like $500...  :blink:   I think your prossesor is a good choice... I have a 3.2 P4 cause I heard that P4's run games real well without having to Overclock, I was skeptical but I can run Doom 3 on Highest graphics with very minimal Skipping.  However a friend of mine has a 64bit AMD and we both ran the 3dmark benchmark and he got like 5000 points higher than me.... I was Pawned.  The best peice of advice I can give you though, is make ABSOLUTLY sure your motherboard, proccessor, etc. fits in your case right.  Don't just check the box to see if it says so, I mean bring a tape measure if you need to.  My case said that my motherboard would fit, however one of the pins didn't align and I had to take a Dremel to the case to cut off a tab that was blocking one of my IDE slots...  :angry:   Ohh well, works great and looks good now.  

  Ohh yeah... make sure and get plently of hard drive space for all those Pirated Movies and Music... YARR!!....

Hmmmm.....  Well doubt this will be any help.... cause I'm a Nub when it comes to networking, but If you use a router that will screw with your internet connection too.  I know whenever I'm on my family's Linksys I can't play any of the MMORPGs (everquest, Star wars Galaxies... etc.)  And normally I have a high ping on the NS servers.  You can try hooking the computer directly into the Tower and avoid the Router... that may help.

Hey everyone.  Been a long time.  I think my last post was around mid May.  Sorry I've been out of contact for so long, I know how you guys just can't survive without me...  :p .  Anyway, I got a job and built a new computer.... YAY..... I'm not playing on a laptop anymore.  Maybe now I will be able to stop TKing..... nah.  Look forward to seeing you in the game agian.

Being Kenny, I was born yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and the day before that, dateing back to the start of South Park.  Unofficially, I am 19 years of age, and will be turning 20 on June 29th.

General / What Frustrates You The Most While Playing Ns?

OK... bear with me.  Lets see.....

-How about when Comm drops a HA/HMG train, and ALL the noobs get in back so they can hide behind the entire team, and then as soon as one skulk shows up, they spray everyone standing in front of them... Yeah I've been told to stop that.. :p

-Or how about when Torque2k7 goes Fatty right at the end of the game and drops 20 OC's in MS.  Torque... plz... at least give us a death thats not humiliating.

-How about when people are talking over the mic while apparently EATING it so all you can hear is "KSJBDKJ  SKJDBK KSJBFK JSNKSJ, FKJSBFK KFJBSKF AKJDSFJKHEN ASDUJF DKJBFKSDJF KSDFJK SDFB!!!"  which winds up translating into "Hey guys, can you hear me ok, or am I eating the mic?"
