Title: Hello all how you all doing?
Post by: Tombomb on November 27, 2005, 03:14:54 PM
Hi all... It's been a while since i have posted here and played NS.  I just wanted to say hello and whatsup.  I know most of you don't even remember me.  Most of my time has been spent playing WOW.  I also spent most my time moving to my new house this summer.  I find myself always coming back once in a while and seeing whatsup.  This was my first forum that i ever posted on and NS was one of my FAV shooters.  Well anyways i wanted to say hi too all of you and i will see you in the Server which i hope is up when i eventually DL the game again for some oldschool fun.

the game sucked anyway after 2.0, it was a well needed death. Hopefully it will be reincarnated with NS:Source. And the good old days would be back, except with cooler physics and better graphics ^_^

The only problem is, every next gen system will be out. The godly UT2007 will also be out. And there will be a video card that has 1 gig of RAM and run at 1.5GHz, and I will want it to play UT2007 on the Super, Ultra-Sexy, Consume-Your-Computer's-Soul Video Setting. And the WoW expansion will be out.

What makes you think UT2k7 will be godly? I mean, UT2k4 was not bad. In fact, it was good. But nobody bought it anyway, because nobody ever buys UT. What makes 2k7 different?

Dystopia has like 4 reasonable servers...  although only 2 can be found active 24/7.

SF has 1, and I don't play any other mods.

UT2004 was a very good game, and I had lots of fun playing it (although I didn't much since I used my friend's copy). We played it on LANs a lot, and I am sure I could get a ton of people to play it in my dorm. And UT2007 looks so beautiful, and it has to be better than UT2004. They are leaving in the same modes, but making it play more like the original UT. The art style looks so nice in it too. There is technically no reason it shouldn't be better than UT2004.

EDIT: I also got to play UT2004 online several times. It was a blast, and there were plenty of servers. I also played UT2003 online for almost a year. IMO, there is no shortage of people who are buying it since I have never had a problem finding good servers.
