The Man Without A Face:
Mel Gibson's directorial debut is a sad and moving story about a boy and a ****ed up freak of a guy who's face is all ****ed and ****. Really sad though.

Once Were Warriors:
New Zealand movie about people who decended from the maori, ****ed up family **** going on, everyone's ****ed up, son joins a gang, **** like that, ****ing sad though, and moving.

Star Wars: Episode 3:
The jedi get ****ed up when they least expect it. A tear came to my eye at this point. ****.

Grave Of The Fireflies:
Probably one of my favourite movie times. It's an anime about 2 kids in Japan throughout the second world war. ****ed up **** happens, nothing goes right and **** they get ****ed up and so on. Watch it, mother****er.

Other Stuff:
Yeah!

Return of the King.

During Faramir's charge across the Pelenor Fields.  It wasn't really the same crying, but tears came to my eyes.  Such a waste, worthless and pointless.

Something akin to horror that it could happen, I suppose.

Though on a side note, after the first time I heard Theoden's speech when they arrived at Minas Tirith to relieve the garrison, I woulda fought for him.   ^_^

I might have felt more than a twinge of sadness in that Last Samurai scene if it weren't for all the damn cherry blossom petals or whatever floating across the screen. Yes, I know it's supposed to be poetic and beautiful, etc., but I hated the petals.

I can honestly say I didn't cry during braveheart, because I can never last through that whole ****ty movie without either shutting it off or going to sleep. Mel Gibson should have had a bullet put in his mouth after leathal weapon so he would be remembered as a worthy human being.

SPR didn't make me cry either, it's good but I don't find it to be so "touching".

Green Mile did make me tear up a bit.

Shawshank I've never seen.

Either you guys dont watch many movies, or you're just not thinking hard enough. Heres my list:
Shawshank Redemption
Watership Down
Life is Beautiful
Glory
Casablanca
Saving Private Ryan
The Last Samurai
Legends of the Fall
Dead Poets Society
With Honors
The Notebook
Meet Joe Black
Rudy
City of Angels
Ghost
Dying Young
The Patriot
Schindler's List
She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
Philadelphia
Big Fish
Of Mice and Men
Cast Away
Love, Actually
What Dreams May Come
The Green Mile
and one only us nerds can appreciate:
Star Trek II (when spock dies/funeral scene)

Im sure even i have more than that, but seriously, thats a list from the top of my head, not even looking at my DVDs or trying to research movies i've seen long ago.

No, no, no.....

I'm not certain why, but I don't cry much.  Even when I feel I should.  It seriously bothers me.  The only reason that RotK got me like that is because I was -horrified- by it.  Simple sadness isn't enough, apparently.

so sue me for being one of those people who doesnt try to act like a completely emotionally-devoid badass. i prefer being human, as it stands.

by the way, the name was derived as an insult to people whining about being killed back in the 1.04 days when i would onos and just mow a whole team down and spawncamp for 20-30 minutes on non-f4 servers. it was originally "CryForMePlzKThxNubs" but i thought that to be a little long.

lol X-S-Z, the part when the little bear mauls the pig and eats the cat made me cry :(

but that dual with Otis the dog and the dogcatchers was so sad until otis ripped that guys eye out and knocked him off that cliff.

Then when Milo is reunited with Otis and they kill those burgalers and space aliens brought a tear to my eye

the part with the woogawooga fish though was the best

WHAT AN ADVENTURE THAT MOVIE WAS!

Im not real in touch with my emotions, so I cant ever remember crying at a movie.
I cried a little at the end of some book about school boys during the blitz in London. Dont remember the name.

I tried that whole getting in touch with my emotions thing and it made me mad at the world for almost a year, so never again.

The only one I actually remember getting all misty at was Saving Private Ryan.  It's a movie meant to generate emotions, that's for sure.  I own it and I think I've only watched it twice, once in theatres and once out.  Anyways, right at the end, when the flashback finally ends and we're back with James Ryan and his family and he starts crying and looks at his wife and says "Tell me I'm a good man, tell me I've led a good life."  I lost it there.

*edit* I've come close in a few more movies, but never to the point of crying.  Something about that male machismo thing, maybe.  Real men don't cry, they just eat steak and build stuff, right low?  :p

a) it's called rot13, it's older than the internet. i would not expect one such as yourself to be able to understand it
b) i could not care less of the opinions of others
c) there's an "ignore user" feature both here and on irc, if you do not want to see my incomprehensible bull**** then i would suggest that you make use of them

now, let's translate that post that i made
first,
Quote
ohg gura fur pnzr onpx. v jnf yvxr "JGUNK AB SNVE" ... oevat gur qrnq crbcyr onpx *nsgre* rirelbar vf fnq orpnhfr gurl qvrq gb fnir gur erznvavat cbegvbaf bs uhznavgl, oyru. fghcvq ubyyljbbq raqvatf.
second, now that we know it's ROT13 (the two most common ROT schemas are ROT13 and ROT47, if all charachters appear to be from a standard charset and the letters appear to be unscrambled then it would be safe to assume that the text is either ROT13 or 72)
next, we pop open our favorite translator. firefox has the "leetkey" plugin which works perfectly with IPB's text boxes (leetkey also translates to/from bin, hex, morse and 'l33t') there's also an online JS translator (http://tools.geht.net/rot13.html) and a whole bunch of others here (http://www.miranda.org/~jkominek/rot13/)
third, we put the text in the box
fourth, we put some other text in the box and post the output so that we dont spoil the movie for others

ROT13 - Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ROT13)
