"Toothy" from naturalselection.com forums has posted an amazing and informative article on NS Etiquette for Pub NS servers. Everyone should read this, becuase if you don't follow the rules, the 'pro' NS players will flame you off the server.

i dont know how many billions of times ive heard this:

PlayerX: Stop dragging it out! Just come in and kill us all.
CryForMe: We're working on it, but skulks dont work quickly against HMG's.
PlayerX: We're not even fighting back!
***CryForMe has killed NSPlayer with bitegun***
***PlayerX has killed CryForMe with Heavy Machinegun***

Yeah...ok.
Obviously dealing with Pub-i allstars on that note.

It's worse on CO servers.  Contrary to apparent popular belife lerks aren't very good at taking down command chairs with whole teams of marines wave spawning around them.

but it can! i've seen comms ejected by people for not spamming meds to a team that was trying to siege a hive as heavies, WHEN THEY HAD AN ARMORY NEXT TO THE TF! I mean seriously...this article is right on the nose. Anyone and everyone can be blamed for losing a game. I personally always try and blame the other team for being so hell-bent on winning.

lol CFM: "Stupid Aliens, why didn't you just keel over and die, we didn't actually want a challenge..."

My personal favorite is, "Hey Cornmander, drop me an HMG." after one minute in the game, and then the subsequent eject vote becuase of lack of adv. armory weapons at minute one.

Armories are horrible for giving meds.  You SHOULD still be medspamming, expecially HA, since they are so expensive to lose.

The "normal" quote feature is now the the little reply box under the posters name.  The one that says "quote" stores the post and dumps it in to yours when you go to create a post, this is so you can theoretically quote multiple posts at the same time.  I never use it.

just use +reply
