Title: Cameras, Anyone?

So, the other day i went on a trip to Florida. (specifically, Orlando.  With Disneyland/world/universe, or whatever it happens to be called.)   And, because we went with a huge group, we sat on busses for AGES.  EVERY DAY.  But, it wasn't that bad.  Because I had an Idea.  Such a brilliant, beautiful, unique idea that it ahs never been thought before.  Except by people in florida on marching band trips.  

Anyway, camera flashes annoy me.  So, I decided that when i got home from the trip i would attempt to build a camera, but without the camera part.  Just the flash.  So, i tore apart a disposable camera and took out the light, capacitor, ciruitboard, and batteries.  Then, I proceeded to h4x my way through an altiods can ( a rectangular one, not circular). I cut a hole in the box so that the light would be able to shine(or flash), and another so that i could attach a string to ythe contact wires so it would flash on command. then, I coated the inside with electrical tape and duct tape, and then glued the parts inside the case, and voila! The bored pirate bear's pastime.

Pictures are forthcoming, all i need to do is find out how to post them.

But, to the main point of the thread, What do you do in your spare time?  Preferably a craft of some sort, like what i did.  And comments on my work

I also do chores around the house so that Mrs. Owl will let me play computer games!!

Why just a flash? You know there are more useful things to do with disposable cameras. Like make em into simple stun guns.

In my spare time, crafts-wise.... I used to burn and blow stuff up using materials I bought from a local hardware store and stole from my chemistry course. Does that count as a craft?

In my spare time I think up unethical medical experiments that arise as the result of too much time learning genetics. The rest of the time I stare at my microwave and contemplate turning it into something more interesting.

I just finished taking an old vcr and modding it. :-D

(now you can see the tape, and it glows all read, it's pwn)

other times I screw around with my pc, I just also got cable hooked up on it :) (hence the need for a vcr)

As for me... dunno.  Not much artisic stuff, or whatnot.  Spend most of my time at work/school/NS with some time on the side for ze gf.  Don't get to see her much, though I can this week (which is a good reason for my not playing NS :p).

So yeh.  Would building a beer-wall count?  Or helping bill blow stuff up?
