Moving back to Canada next friday. I'll be taking my things to my papas for him to drive them across because I just don't feel like finding a way to take it all on the plane.
Have a good time but not too much fun without me!
I'll be back on IRC and whatnot right when I get home, just not in game.

I love the internet, where people moving all around the world doesn't mean teary-eyed goodbyes to friends, it just means a slight change in ping to the server. :D

You know what would be horrible if AO's plane was hijacked and sent to take out the statue of Liberty.
The worse part would be i would be waiting at the airport FOREVER to pick him up being dead and all.

2 - yeah, you do need that many bills :p
am i not allowed to joke about my own country?
(btw, compared to the usd the can$ is up by ~0.15 ... just like the pound ... and the yen ... and the euro ...)
as of my last check a canadian dollar was worth ~US$0.76
-
Oh, like you need to point out that America's going down the crapper. I bet you like to trip retarted kids and then laugh at them too, eh?

poor retarted kids...i mean, their tarting didn't work the first time, it's usually due to a lemon meringue filling, hopefully the retarting will stick.
hey, i'm not one to back the US, their CIVILIAN population, heck, probably of JUST texas, could out gun the entire freaking canadian army.
-
Well I'm back in Canada now :p. It's alot nicer. I saw RAIN yesterday! It's amazing.
Partied with Greenground and some friends last night. Was a good homecoming.

sadly, canadian gun ownership is comparable to the us (although the violence with guns factor is muuuuch lower)
gun related accidents are also lower, and the canadian army has some of the best snipers in the world. or so claim a few airbornes : http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/713521/posts (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/713521/posts)
oh, and the world record for longest killshot under fire: 2 430m (2 657.4 yards) with a McMillian - TAC-50 (http://www.snipercountrypx.com/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idproduct=2427)
hey, moose don't shoot themselves ya know
-
2 430m in other words 2 and a half kilometers, or a mile and 3/4.
WTH, wouldn't you have to wait several seconds for the round to even hit? not to mention compensating for fall time... What is the muzzle velocity on that gun???
-
yeah, that's why it's amazing. That means that the shooter was a damn good sniper.
-

I'd argue that the shot was running close to impossible. Any normal bullet would have more downward momentum then forward momentum by the time it reached 2000m, even at 1000 MperSecond muzzle velocity the shot would have dropped almost 50 meters by the time it hit its target. Add wind restistance...

i'm sorry, but the hunting rifles the vast majority of canadians own pale in comparison to the fully combat standard AK-47s, m4a1s, and m60's that the average american can own.

Ya, we don't go hunting with uzis nearly often enough. For future reference maby it would be best to not qoute facts from michel moore, his facts often leave out inconveniant sides of the story.
-
what the hell are you talking about swiftspear? I live in Oklahoma, thats just north of Texas... And i know several people with fully automatic M16's and AK's.... seriously, a 4 year old could change them over...

What are you responding too?
I know it must be knee jerk reaction to see people say "ya, but you can't get dem guns in da full automatic types in da states" but those words never touched my post. I know as well as anyone how easy it is to change over so called "semi only" guns, and I even live in canada.

Not you, Blackmage with the "canadian gun ownership is comparable to the us" comment. This is true, but much like everything else that Michael Moore states, he conviniantly leaves out some important information, ie the information you responded to that post with.
