I Download the beta 4 only to find myself unable to join TLM
after realizing this i might just cry tonight cuz i wasnt able to play there
PLZ this is my outcry for a reserved slot HELP MEEEEEEE i wanna play wit teh big boys too!

Heh, i got in for about 20sec and saw about 4 lerks all flapping around like crazy spumbraing..then kicked. :( We 'regs gotta wait for a few days until the res slotters get bored. Just be patient. Maybe I'll actually study for a change.

Haf, one of the ups to getting a res slot! You can play on new releases(well, when the other RSers get off olll). Be a positive addition to LM and play regularly and you *could* end up with an RS! :D

hafaf, but most of the res slotters have been playing for many months on end :D, too bad you didnt find out about the LM sooner heh. But you and I are in the same boat, you can't play because all the servers are full, and I can't play because my board is fried and I have to use my bros comp @_@.

Hafaf, I love my comp, but I think it broke because I kicked it one too many times..... pos..... meh it didnt cost very much. Poor K7S5A :(, it was so young!

It's simply your member title - as you get more posts it will change (like a rank).
And don't feel so bad - my hard-drive just ate the big one, so I am also stuck with nay a beta to be played. I'm just hoping to Buddah that I can pick a new one up today... :huh:

I haven't been able to play NS for a month due to lack of headset. I've got these crappy speakers that sound like they barely made it through WWII... HOPEFULLY, my mom will find a headset today.

I am on 56k til' Sunday, so LM will probably have a couple of free slots when i'm back B)

Formatting is your ranking, It reflects how many posts you've made. I don't remember the number ranges for them, but the first few in order are: Formatting, Compiling, Make Install, Make Config, and then more that i don't know. Getting a custom title replaces this, although you can still see how many penguins you have (an indicator of your rank).

1. please make future topic names more precise to what the topic actually is (which is, from what i see is that you want a reserve slot)
2. Please create future topics in thier designated fourms (this would probably be more fitted for general discussion.)
3. The Edit button is your friend and eliminates the evil Double Post.
4. Quickest way to a reserve slot:
-get on #lunixmonster @ irc.gamesurge.net; Some only a couple admins get on the fourms regularily to post (outside reporting a ban or whatnot)
-Actually contributing to current active topics will help you get known and will show you are knowledgable in the game and will be a great player to have as a reserve slotter.
-not asking for one. Hinting for one is okay though. I think we all did that atleast once.
-Get noticed! If the admins like you, they'll put in the good word for Lightning_Blue. If the other res slotters like you, they'll put in the good word for the admins AND Lightning_Blue. When playing on the server, be a great team player. Commander giving you an order? Get over there pronto! Someone says they need the hive up? Tell him you'll take care of it as you're going gorge. Hive going up in maintainance? Yell at the comm for a phase gate. You want people to think "Oh yeah, Tombomb...he's pretty good, give him an rslot, too".
-Play Play Play! Playing on LM is the best way to get noticed. Even if you get kicked every 10 minutes, its better if you hadn't even touched the server at all.

1. The name was precise, it was an expression of frustration!
2. Well, I think it could go in either place, but it does fit General a bit better.... except for all the replies ;).

- You could say I contribute, if by contribute you mean go completely off topic in ways that are too tought out to be spam, but too off topic to actually be a valid, thought out post.
-Okay.. I didn't ask for one.. I just stalked LB in the constie beta..
-The admins don't like me much from what I can tell.. well, at least, not on the server. I have a tendancy to subtlely break every rule possible..
