I'm sorta a frontpage newb, so you'll need to go in and fix the hyperlinks that don't work (they're going to be the ones that link to other lunixmonster.org pages, like nsrules.htm, etc)

NOTE: I missed the 'Lunixmonster RC Server'... but you get what I was trying to achieve...

I also sorta nubbed up the formatting... sorry? :D

Did this cuz the current page sucks and tells you nothing :p

3) The LM pages up now were made in Frontpage ;)

Pretty simple. BTW I packaged it with winRar... maybe that's why it's not opening?

EDIT: Opens fine for me.

I did ;) I know nothing about S&I or RC so I just didn't make it :p Plus the formatting (notice how the 'forums' 'lunixmonster irc' 'other' table is shifted a bit in every one... I don't know why that happened but it did) was getting so out of whack that it drove me insane.

and again you CAN get the news from the forums to the front page but i dont know how that works.

That was hardcoded because i was just bored and showing off my work...most of the time i will php the news

Way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way WAY too much wasted space. Looks too big, bulky and ugly for something with next to no detail. Try and slimline it and make it not look so wasteful.

Mine is at 100% scale. But i believe in the philosophy that if you're not going to fill the space, don't make a design that will. That is 650px across, the height is variable.

And it's entirely done in photoshop, but the thing is, the second i slice it up and put it into .html, it will look identical.

And yes yours looks bulky, excessively so. Look how much space is wasted, if you can't see it, i believe you need to give up web designing at all, it's not for you if you cannot spot such simple things.

You do not, ever, yes, i repeat, ever speak down to me when speaking of web designer. Unlike most of you kids who do it, i do have professional working experience and qualifications in both web and graphic design, I..:

A) Know what i'm talking about.
B(goddamned smilies)) Know what i'm doing.
C) Probably have more training and qualifications in design than you.
D) Probably have been designing longer than you (Websites up since 1994).
E) Actually have a natural talent for space and colour usage, which most people don't have.

/me puts away the arrogance stick.

Sorry, had to slap myself. Something like a penguin with TSA gear, or somesuch. Aliens pics are cool too. There's so many recognizable things in NS it seems strange that every website has to have COOL HA MAN OMG as their picture.

he was just trying to help you out, give you suggestion. the only way to get better is to keep working at it, learn from mistakes, and take in to account other peoples suggestion(especially ones that have a great deal of experience themselves)

(i would like to help out if any of you need it with building the web page)

Everything i marked in yellow is wasted. Maybe i have gone a little overkill, but certain areas to look for are the ridiculously large empty spaces around the title text, the ridiculously thick borders and spacing which only adds to the wasted space.

There's only a certain # of things that you can and should put on it. On the other hand, I dislike some of the thick bars, such as at the top and bottom. And besides, it kinda looks CSish like some crappy "1337 C|4N's" website. In that respect, it reminds me of my old CS days and I shudder in disgust.
