my commanding skills (remember, I just statrted trying a week ago) - if possible give tips - i know i'm not dropping RT's really fast and what not, but I AM speeding up, so just give me time.

Unfortunatly this is not at lunixmonster, but at that one server that only has vets on it.  If it looked like I didn't have control of my marines, it was becuase they did the exact opposite of what I was telling them - ****tards - anyways, its only a meg and a half.

Being a new comm on NSAV is a really bad idea.

Also, 50% of the time, the comm isn't listened to on that server. Especially if you arent' known. I have trouble getting them to, at least. However, they do know the game, so just follow them and give meds ammo when needed, and keep teching. Then you can use some things you learn in other pubs...

However, if you think playing marines on the Vet server is a nightmare, go aliens :/

Agreed.  The vet server is the poorest example of teamwork, ever.  The team that wins on that server is the team which douesn't whore/rambo the most.

its the second time i'v eplayed on that server - before it was aliens and just pathetic

that what I love about lunix monster - friendly people with a sense of humor and its always a GG at the end

at that server they just constantly bitch at each other - its like.... why play a game that is going to make you upset?

Here's a strat to try:
1) attack their rts at all costs
2) cap some if you have a marine far from the battle
3) tech like crazy, get AA and PGs early
4) see point 1
5) watch for the hive at 3:30-4:30
6) hmgs/sg assault hive (sieging takes forever, and just gives them a chacne to react)
7) see point 1
