And yeah, dogs are great as long as they have been raised properly. Nothing gets newspaper headlines as much as a mistreated dog killing a few children on a playground. But yeah, great when raised properly. But I'm a cat person.

I hate cats. Always have.. usually lots of shedding, and whenever they want to play you gotta watch for their claws. >_< (unless you declaw them or trim their claws, but that's like taking fingers away from a human pretty much)

When she gets bigger I might get some of the cut your own length chain that is like 5/8th CM thick and use that for a collar just so she gets "swoll up"

They'd occasionally get too caught up and forget, though. Ouch... So, yeah, claws. I haven't been able to find the perfect pet yet, they all have a drawback. But I somehow feel like I can bond better with a cat.

I have a German Short Haired Pointer....12 as well...although years....which im actually suprised at since hes a pure bred....GSHP = A walk consisting of me on my rollerblades and him pulling me at around 30kph chasing motorcycles....(he learned not to chase cars when he broke loose of his collar and tried to shoulder check the car :mellow: .........

2 cats aboard here as well...their about...ooo....15 this year...

Post by: SuicidaL MonkeY on April 10, 2005, 11:36:16 AM: Yeah they nap when they please....which is about 11 hours a day or more....one of my cats has the toughest skin i've seen on a cat....i pull claws out of him and theres never blood...the other one though...lol...he's one of them scrappers...he's come home more times with claws stuck in him.....bloddy paws and face....pierced ears like you wouldnt believe....lol...he beat up and still beats up all the cats in the neighborhood who step around his turf...its pretty neat actually....they chased a racoon up our tree one night and they both took shifts sitting under the tree for about 3 days until they decided he could come down...lol....now i see them at night sleeping on the yard :)
