Mission acomplished
He waits standing outside the double doors, white rose with all the dressing in one hand, Starbucks travelrs mug filled with hot white chocholate mocha in the other, and a starbucks giftcard worth $10 in his breast pocket.
The door swings open, out walks a young man, followed closely by her...
"so what did you want to talk to me about" she says to him
"oh nothing? he turns and walks backinside,
she looks around confused, and then her eyes fall on him, one arm outstreched holding the rose, wearing the clean white shoes, brand new anchor blue jeans, and I nice plaid shirt, with the hair carefully spiked, the other arm is at his side, concealing the mug.
she does a double take, "oh my god"
she walks over and smiles, he smiles as well, he holds the single white rose up and to his right, she looks at it, and while she does he brings his left hand up and holds the mug at eye level.
"Daubert you didn't have to do th....oh my god"
"it's full"
"of what"
"white chocholate mocha" [ololol favorite flavor ftw]
"Oh my god"
she embraces him in a long hug, the yard nark walks by and he does the clenched fist of victory behind her back to him, he laughs and keeps walking. Then he hands the mug to her. she fiddles with the lid for a few seconds and says thru a smile "I told you not to go all out"
"but I did"
she puts the mug on the ground averting her gaze for a second, and when she returns to look at him, there is a starbucks card staring her right in the face.
"this should help you get it filled a couple of times"
"oh my god"
"don't mention it"
"I got you from something starbucks as well"
"I look forward to it"
another long hug, she kisses him, and the hug continues.
"you should get back to Class"
"I should, bye daub"
