got this odd green color instead of orange....just now. i have no idea why it happened, but here it is.

Note: i resized the pic to 800x600 from 1600x1200.

I really should get motivated to use STEAM. I have it installed and everything works...

No, my resolution is 1152 x 864 and in some maps , i get the colour orange.

Ok, I've had a green incident. It wasn't with the aliens though. When I was a marine (I think on caged), the motion tracking circles appeared green :huh:.

I've had my motion tracking circles go green also. I actually liked it a bit more, easier to differentiate from the average mt circles.

From time to time I'll see the typed text turn green and other crazy colors.
That's about the time when I say "What the f*ck?!" and check my own temperature.


I'm glad everyone else has this problem too  :p

Hey Dubb, are you using a non-default con_color?
I've seen that problem many times in DoD when I changed the con_color. If there is text on the screen like the admin_csay and such (the pretty colored text at the top or side) then it will turn the top line of the chat that color (it looks really cool when they make the pretty text fade out, it makes the top chat line fade out too :p )

I see that everyone else seems to be able to get the green, unintentionally. Now i'm jealous B)

Neegative - I generally don't fudge around with designer crap like that  :p

They just sometimes will blink different colors (ie from the normal white to red to green, etc.).




There's just gotta be something in the water...  :huh:
