sooo, does anyone here use SAMURIZE?!
http://www.samurize.com/modules/news/ (http://www.samurize.com/modules/news/)
basically a lightweight desktop plugin that pulls of SOAP calls to external webservices. meaning you can get realtime updates on cool stuff, weather, RSS feeds, TV listings, etc. it takes a wee bit of haxing, but it's super cool! anyone else use it? have configs to share?

I used it back in the day. Had like what was on TV, News, Space left on the HD and lot of other stuff. Was really neat but not that useful.
A friend of mine is like the ultime haxor with Samurize but he won't share his configs :( . I think he is named Louqe on the Samurize-site.

"Light"? Doubtful. Killed my computers performance, even with just simple stuff showing. I much prefer litestep.

Looks like something an AOLer would use, hoots :) Least you didn't put a big gayass playlist on it...

Well, as a student of the MonsE-school of optimization, stuff like that causes my left eye to develop a nervous twitch. Soon, I'll start washing my hands whenever I've touched the keyboard. After a few days (my hands are raw and bleeding from constant washing at this point), I stop breathing for extended periods of time (unconsciousness is a common occurence). Unless someone mercifully executes a format c:\ at this point, I'll take up living in a cardboard box and throwing spatulas at bypassers. And I haven't even mentioned the bananas yet...
